  • KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes.

I wish I was this flexible.

  • So source or destination has to be SG ?

Is this deal valid for one way Mumbai to Sydney in first week of May?

    No first class deals?

    • Almost never

I booked 10 months ago in business on points from Brisbane to London on points for the saver. I wish you luck trying to find availability. There is economy fares rhou

Just to add a bit more info as the title is slightly misleading not mentioning restrictions….

Spontaneous Escape deals (discounted award seats) happen the middle of every month for the upcoming month - Routes/Dates are limited and there is nothing originating from Australia in May.

Thanks, I had just copied over a previous deal's title but I've now made it clear it's just select routes.

Yeah, no flights out of Australia, but I believe it's been a few months since any business class flights to Sydney have been offered in these Spontaneous Escape deals. I've booked one as I needed to travel next month anyway - my first time in business class!

No stress - was just a suggestion to help clarify for people. Enjoy the flight! Make sure you spend some solid time at the SilverKris lounge in Terminal 3. It's a nice space. Flying Business is a game changer - nothing like your first experience! Also don't be afraid to ask for things in Business as they will never say no haha - ask for an amenity kit (SQ often won't give these out as standard), ask for more drinks, ask for extra dessert, heck even ask for a Singapore Airlines teddy bear!

        • I've heard the laksa at the lounge is awesome. Thank you!! Haha I'm so tempted to ask for a bear.

        • Wish I knew this tip at my last work business class trip pre-Covid days. How big is the SQ teddy bear?

        • +1

Steal some TWG teabags from the SilverKris lounge too (if you like tea that is)

  • Title is misleading…You need to mention this requires points, it is not 30% off the ticketed price as suggested.

      Amended

  • They flying to NZ/ Queenstown again yet?

Was all ready to go with the 25k points return pre covid.

If not, might just have to book singapore itself. Fam trip with a 3yr old. Singapore a viable destination.

Have 60k points expiring in 5 months.

  • damn literally just redeemed a ticket two days ago

  • Upgrade to biz class ?

  • extremely difficult to find short notice business reward redemptions, which would be the only worthwhile use of miles

  • The award availability is interesting. Looking at Singapore - Adelaide in business and there's 0 Saver availability for all of May, only Advantage which is all waitlisted anyway.

While looking for availability on Aeroplan, I can see 5 dates in May for 45000 miles. It's rare that a partner website has availability while SQ doesn't.

    • VA availability in May as well for SIN-ADL.
