oh my god !!! $11.55 loss,

i should return to officeworks ($255.55) and get this then my dinner's sorted.

This is literally everyone on OzB πŸ˜‚

    • You will waste time doing all that, just bite the bullet

    • +1

I feel your pain I did Officeworks' price beat Thu night too.
Hopefully not bursting anyone's bubble however I've noticed all the posts the last few days saying it was $599; sure it was that when released 2 years ago but the going rate for one these days in a retail bricks-and-mortar store is $299…

    • lol
Don't stress over a couple of bucks, just never buy anything
Latitude price protection is good for this though.

    Thanks. Got one

    Hmmmm very tempting…

      Same 😭

I am still holding for that Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro LTE. Can someone post an amazing deal on that? I really need a smart watch. I don't have one. But this deal it's very tempting.

        • +4

If you need that Watch 5 Pro I might try to get a deal. I'll keep you posted

        • +1

Samsung had a pretty good trade-in deal last week.

Unfortunately i only noticed on the last day 18th and just made the cutoff…

          $150 off, $150 trade-in bonus, $50 newsletter voucher. (Plus your trade-in value - $15 for Samsung Galacy Watch 3).

Ended up at around $415 Pro LTE with the sportsband.

Battery life is way better than my Watch 3.

Thank you. Was able to purchase for $239 by using code PLUSM1WMQ57YM67M instead of PLUSITUP

    Can this watch receive calls?

    • Yes, when you have Bluetooth connected with your phone and your phone it's in close distance. This is not the LTE version were you can have an esim and answer calls without your mobile in close range.

    • No thats the LTE version you want. I have this version and I wish I didn't as I never use LTE due to battery drain. This is a better option in my books (unless you like charging alot)

      • Any ideas on frequency of charging with this

        • +1

I find I can get ~20hrs from a charge with no NFC and most things on. I do ~2hrs exercise daily, which it tracks via GPS

I charge mine daily. With LTE on, I got around 6-10hrs

Note: I don't use power saver

So tempting but I think I will wait for the 5 to have a moderate price drop

    • Same here. Keen on the 5 Pro.

    • Why is that?

      • Titanium case?sapphire glass? maybe

      • Few additional features and battery life mainly.

  • Does anyone use this with Nike Run Club? I've had a watch 3 before but sold it because I never used it. Now I'm running more it might be useful, especially at this price.

mobileciti? no thank you. from experience, if something goes wrong, you're on your own, and will pay restock fee trying to get a refund. been there done that

also they were selling things as new when they were open boxes. google pixels if I remember correctly

my story was a faluty laptop that I returned. took 2 months to get money back, and they kept $200. and lied and tried to sell me something else, and disappeared for days on end. I was happy just to get what I got back in the end. since then I would never deal with them. not again! cheap shady business.

    Just announced. Hold!!!

Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Pro to bring back the rotating bezel.

    • +2

      I'll get it in 2026 when it's $245

      • πŸ˜‚

      • That is my thinking as well.

  • I paid with PayPal so should have some protection along with eBay if they are still pulling dodgy moves

    • Dont PayPal and eBay have some integration deal now?

  • I am tempted, though I've never had a smart watch and I haven't worn a watch in a solid 10 years..

Guess I'm getting caught up in the Ozbargain as I've lived so long without one.

    • I bought it and I use iOS!
Though I do have my surface Duo to play with on.

    • don't get tempted!

I was in the exact same boat (well, 15+ years without a watch) and what put me over the line was a mate's wife. Calm down I'll explain haha

She is a 33yo healthy women who wears one of these and tracks her exercises and etc. Than last month she's watching TV and the watch tells her there's something wrong with her heart (can't remember exactly what) and she obviously assumes it's the watch playing up so my mate decides to try the watch on him. Nothing… no warning. Back to her and the warning goes back on.

Long story not so long, she goes to hospital and she was actually having a mild heart attack and the watch was the only indication she had. Not saying it saved her life cause we'll never know but it definitely helped!

      • +1

That's a good outcome, it's good to trust the devices but they still come with disclaimers. Fitbit has the ECG function too and also warns of heart rate drops etc. Maybe some specialist equipment is the go for people that are more concerning, but good to take warnings seriously (just like if your car battery or fuel light is on).

        • agree all the smartwatches (the proper ones) always have warning that all its sensors cant be trusted for medical purposes something like that

          • @CyberMurning: Still alright as a guide and lucky they didn't ignore it either.

  • +1

I'm not buying I'm not buying… stop it.

  • Didn't need it, bought it anyways.

  • Do they have the smaller one?

  • -1

hey op, the code doesn't work for me.

  • Thanks bought one.

    • received mine yesterday with 0% batterry. manufactured in Dec 2022. a little suprised.

  • geesus this samwatch price is going down like rocks

  • hmm this or pro5 for $326 ?

    • Depend on you needs.

  • Will JB hifi pricematch this?

  • Reviews for the App for this phone are terrible. Any opinions?

    • I tried an early gen one this week and got so annoyed at it I'm not going to bother. It's horrifying but I've never dealt with smart watches before (I just use a Coros for running and thought I could use the Samsung for phone free music, harder than it's worth).

      • A Garmin would be much better but a bit more expensive ($500 for the Fenix 6 or forerunner equivalent perhaps), otherwise like the Fitbit charge 5 for something cheaper, reliable and minimalist
