      I decided to check this and it's just not true. I like to believe people buying a 7900XT (or even a 6900XT right now) are playing in 4k in which case the difference is at least 50% which is vast.

          @Jimmy77: Yeah you're right I was underselling it at 15%. Regardless it's fair to say I think that a 7900 XT is barely if at all better value than a 6900 XT.

          It varies greatly but in some games it's certainly a lot more than 24% so I guess it depends on the user.

    4070 ti should be just under $800 and it's a fair bit faster than the 6900xt

    You need to push an extra 50-70 watts to close the gap using an external tool. But it's risky and doesn't seem worth it, 300W is already a lot
