Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX AM5 Motherboard $325 + Delivery + Surcharge @ Shopping Express

60

It seems like the motherboard prices for the AM5 platform are finally approaching some sort of normal. This full size ATX board has been around $400 the last few months. $14 less than the previous best deal for this board: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/756541

The Gigabyte B650 GAMING X AX is also cheap at $275: https://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/gigabyte-b650-gaming-…

Interestingly the non AX- version (no Wifi or BT) is still $400: https://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/gigabyte-b650-aorus-e…

What is the "Surcharge" on SE?

Is this even a good price?

  • I have the gaming X, can recommend

  • Mine takes a short while to start up sometimes - must be due the XMP profiles.

Also, in the m-ATX version (not sure about this one) - the PCI-E x16 slot is VERY close to the CPU slot - so if you have a big a$$ cooler like me (Noctua NH-D15) - you need to reconsider (or get the D15S I think…)

    • I run the ATX version since this weekend and it took quite a bit of time to get to the BIOS logo screen when booting after activating EXPO to get RAM up to 6000 MHz. I updated BIOS from F1 to F4 and now boot time is fine.

  • I hope to AERO G also cheap as it soon.($419 at Umart)
