        I get the same message (using Firefox) after entering the OTP but the payment still goes through and I receive the GC in my email. Just tried it now and it's working for me. But yes, it's definitely glitchy.

        It shouldn't work, because the Cashrewards page for the Choice gift card says: “True Rewards does not allow purchases or payments made with prepaid Visa or MasterCard gift cards.”

        I wouldn't recommend if it's the first time because it does the $1 confirmation charge.

        The $1 confirmation charge only happened when you were linking a card for the first time on the platform, but True Rewards removed the card linking feature a number of weeks ago.

        I just purchased a $30 Choice gift card using a card I have never used anywhere before. I can see the $30 charge for the purchase of the gift card on the card statement, but I cannot see a $1 pending charge anywhere and I my available balance has gone down by $30, not $31.

    Edit: just called them. They said it will drop off after 3-5 days and that I should go ahead and make a new transaction. So I did what they said - I did a new one and it worked. Thanks!

    Paid by using ZIP first time, transaction failed. 2nd time use credit card to paid and went through. Now both my account got charged for $30. What should I do now?

      In the past, when online stores had charged me twice, usually the second payment gets reverted back into the account in a few days.

      I think the payments are put as ‘pending’, and if the merchant doesn’t process the sale in a few days, the payment goes back into your account.

      So, I would suggest waiting 2-3 business days, and if you’ve still not got your money back, then contact the relevant authorities.

      Edit: Looks like someone else had the same problem here.

      Zip transaction will be reversed. And it seems that most gift card websites don’t accept Zip single use card any more including apple pay.

    Dam. bought a $30 one to swap for Kayo.
    My Issue, Kayo only offers $25, $50 etc denominations. It will leave me with $5 change which with the crap/limited selection available via Choice Cards, not much to spend the remaining $5 on other than Oakley or Katmandu (ug)!

    Moral of story, I should have purchased a $50 one! Only noting in case it helps others i.e. check what Choice cards offer and the min spend denominations for each.

    I thought I had activated this earlier. I went back to the page to check before buying the gift card and it is now saying the offer has reached its activation limit and is now expired. If I had activated earlier, would it show an activated page rather than this message?

      Check under my rewards menu option, if you activated the offer the $3 bonus should show as pending.

    A a month ago I tried to buy a GC via OZB using my stored card. The transaction stalled on the expiry date-box was red.I contacted T.R who advised me to remove the card from my account and retry.
    That didn't work, and they did not respond to my next email. tbh I forgot about it until this morning.I am still having the same problem-the expiry date. I tried 2 other cards, same thing. Changing the browser made no difference. I rang 1800 850 739  just now and was told the issue is with my bank and I need to contact them. All 3 banks? Yes…

      I can believe it. It’s probably time to consider switching to Westpac, the gold standard for banking excellence. Don’t forget that the expiry date format is MM/YYYY
