Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 256GB $1049 Less Trade-in Value (with 40% off, $350 Bonus Trade-in Bonus, $100 Loyalty Voucher) @ Samsung

750

As the title says, there is currently a 40% discount of RRP at Samsung website.

256GB Fold 4 is $1,499.40 then you will get $350 bonus trade in value and ask via chat $100 loyalty voucher = $1,049 before the trade-in value of your phone.

I traded my S20+ 5G 128GB and in total I pay only $894.40.

I tried to stack it with the $50 newsletter voucher and in the cart it worked fine ($844.40) but as I was about to make a payment it reverted back to $894.40.

I confirmed with chat rep and they said the loyalty voucher cannot be stacked with newsletter voucher.

NOTE: I don't know why this offer is marked as targeted when its available to everyone. The 40% discount of RRP and $350 trade in bonus should be available to everyone without asking via chat. • @mandelbrot: so i will be losing $155 + $60 to gain $300?

                  so overall difference is ~$100

              • +1

@meong: did you stack the $50 +$100. worked for me with paypal.

      • can they leave you with bonus

        • +1

You keep the bonus. I did it last time.

  • +2

I managed to stack the new user $50 and $100 to bring the price down to $999.40 before discount. It wouldnt stack on the credit card but it would with paypal.

    • When did you buy?

      • I cancelled my order from last night and bought about 15 minutes ago

  • Has anyone bought today as the website says offer expires on 27/04/2023 but the T&C says its valid till 4/05/2023

  • So very tempted, Samsung is trying to widen their market share and clear stock before the Pixel Fold lands in May. Wonder with more competition, will they even drop the price further before/after the Pixel Fold launch? Decisions decisions….

    • +1

Current deal is from $2.5k to around $1k. Doubt it will get any better than that

      • +1

Fair call. Took the plunge. Got the 512Gb for $1091.56 (stacked welcome and 10% voucher I had). Paid by Amex for the screen protection warranty after hearing all the horror stories.

  • Everyone here talking about not sending in a device, have you considered that the $ 350 credit is exclusive to trading in devices found here: https://www.samsung.com/au/tradeup/ ?

They're pretty strict with the devices they accept, and it seems like if you don't send it back, not only will you pay the fees, but also forfeit the extra $ 350 discount you got when purchasing the Z Fold.

Did I get that correctly? I was just chatting to a Samsung agent, and seems like this is, indeed, the case here.

    Thanks.

    • +1

No…samsung and the trade up are a different group. I did it last time and didnt send it in. Samsung cant charge you more without asking permission. Also…last time you weren't charged and then refunded the trade in amount, they had your details and charged you after they didnt receive it…no additional fee. Now they charge you and they refund you when they recieve it.

    • I am on my 4th phone with trade in program. Never sent back any device. Never had to pay other than trade in value.

      • The credit charge of $415 for my flip 4 was charged for deposit .

  • Managed to score the Fold 4 256GB for $934.56 (Stacked 10%loyalty + $100 Loyalty + $50 Signup + $350 Trade-In bonus)
and paid via PayPal. Thank OP!

    • +1

How did you get the 10% voucher?
      Thanks

      • I am not sure about the $100 loyalty, but I received my loyalty discount as 10%

      • +1

Via online chat - have to be super nice and depends on who you get.
        10% code starts with P10
        $100 code starts with EDS

        • have been explaining about the percentage code but their seems to be not aware of that. Can you pls let me know how exactly you got the % discount? Which Chat u used and how to approach for the P10 code? Thanks

          • @Kurt cobain: the 10% loyalty code you can just email [email protected] and they will ask for the IMEI of your existing Samsung phone and they will email you the code. I didn't know there was an additional $100 loyalty discount though…

    • From the calculations, I think only the $100 loyalty applied and not the $50 signup? Should be $800+ if all that stacked?

      $1499.40
      - $1 Trade-in
      - $350 Trade-in Discount
      - $114.84 10% Loyalty
      - $100 Loyalty
      = $933.56

      • +1

You are correct -The $50 signup must not have stacked. But at least the 10% loyalty and $100 did.
        Hopefully others can :)

        • i couldnt stack the newsletter voucher as well but few mentioned they were able to do that the following day or choosing Paypal.

It didnt work for me using Paypal though

          • @meong: I could stack the 10% loyalty voucher with the $50 newsletter voucher paying by cc. The $50 newsletter voucher is email specific. Try changing the order you apply the voucher.

I paid by AMEX for the screen protection insurance. The essential card has it and has no annual fees.

            • @JaeTee: i did try changing the order, it was okay on the cart even until the payment screen. however, the moment i click on a payment method, it lost the $50…

its too late now… i already purchased 😑

              • +1

@meong: In my opinion, we are already getting a very good deal with the trade in and bonuses. Give or take $50 depending on what works is just icing on the cake if it works, as long as the higher value vouchers work, we are winning, now just look forward to receiving the phone :)

                • +1

@JaeTee: Indeed… I spent sometime last night trying to get the newsletter voucher to work but in the end i jumped the gun anyway cause this is already the cheapest deal for Fold 4!

    • I used the exact same coupons how did get $883.56 for same phone.
My phone trade in valued at $1.
I dont think you $50 voucher redeemed?

  • +1

Thanks OP. It is really a hit and miss, but stacking worked for me.
Managed to get it for $883.56.
Had a Pixel5, but didn't trade it. Instead went for the $1 galaxy buds trade-in.

  • +1

By mistake unpublished my old comment, so here is updated one.

The final price i paid just now is $983.56.

trade in (buds): $1 (i don't have it, happy to pay penalty fee, instead of giving them my scratchless Samsung S10 for $45 ;) )
    trade in bonus: $350
loyalty voucher: 100 (select service in chat, click click click, ask for agent, ask for voucher, say you have Samsung s10 and its time to upgrade)
sign up bonus: $50 (multiple attempts were made for it to take effect)

I also got 15% loyalty voucher but that will take away trade in bonus, so didn't use it.

  • Was it from yesterday - Pre-order? - May 15th

  • The newsletter code for some reason doesn't stick. It was taken out during payment

    • i had to go back to cart, remove the voucher, add it again and continue to checkout, and finally it stacked, may require multiple attempts.

  • any good covers?

  • "Sorry due to an error trade in service is unavailable" tried incognito, firefox, edge crome. So maybe its meant to save me 1000 bucks

    • Look at my comments below to fix errors . I had same issue and tried many times and finally realised i missed one crucial step . I got mine for $734 including case with s pen , stacks paid with paypal as others confirmed

      • +1

Thanks i was finally able to make it happen. Problem was trade up option i chose to drop phone in store instead of online. Apparently credit card verification needs to be done first for trade up id to be authorised

  • Dam, the chat guy said " I don't have it right now. " How can I do? Seems it is not my lucky day.

    • Select 'service' , I got the same when I selected 'order'.

    • Renew chat

am planning to place an order - store pickup. Can I pick it up in 2-3 business days as mentioned in their website or it will be a backorder and the store will receive it only after May 15.

  • Trade in 350 bonus is not coming up before checkout. only 45 is applied for oppo find neo x2.final price is coming up 1454. Is there anything doing wrong? TIA

    • Try proceeding to the next screen. The $350 wasn't showing for me until the last checkout screen.

      • Thx, yes it did work , but newsletter promo code is not working. got message it only works in certain conditions and items

        • +1

The newsletter promo code has to match the email. I tested this using 2 different vouchers from 2 emails. It's even written on the page that provides the voucher after subscribing. Hope this helps

  • How do we even get the 10% off loyalty voucher? I have tried few times but always ended with a $100 voucher.

    • I can't get any! How did you get the $100 voucher?

    • +1

      Pmed you

  • +3

    woo!

Just managed to place an order now!!, First Fold phone ever! First ever order from samsung website

thanks to here, I was skeptical to be able stack them

    Managed to stack
    10% off
    $50
    $100
    for $883!

    Gonna change my username!

    • How'd you get the $100 voucher? The service chat said they don't have it

      • +1

i went through the sales chat and just asked for it a few hours ago and they sent it to me without too much hassle

the 10% one, i asked sales like 6 times and they all said "dunno what you are talking about"
then went through the service, and they gave me one after asking what models i have, IMEI, Serial number, purchase date (got told they will only give you one if you have a device more than 12 months old or a damaged new one)

    • +1

lucky you didnt have Note 7 as you wouldn't have held onto that username for so long 😆

    • what was start of that code? EDS something?

  • I was trying to get my trade up id to work and showing me error and today it accepted the trade up id but says invalid. Anyone else had that issue?

    • Have you gone thru the credit card entry for security deposit charged etc. That is the final process. I had same issues and realised that trade ID did not work as i havent done that part. Good luck .

  • Is there a chance Samsung is gonna cancel these orders? Has anyone received their phones from using the trade in hack in the past?

  • all 512gb ones are out of stock. Is everyone just buying the 256gb ones now?

    • Beige and Burgundy is in stock if you do not mind either of those

  • Did anyone’s order get processed by Samsung .. any chance of this being fulfilled before 15th May?

    • My order from yesterday now says Awaiting Dispatch. No indication of dispatch date.

      • Thats promising .. I did order very late yesterday.. just worried reading all the horror stories of delayed processing from Samsung

        • I am now concerned 😅

Mine is still showing "Processing" and still on the "Preparing Order" phase…

          • +1

@meong: Mine is now "awaiting dispatch"

  • Ive been given a spare 10% code, who ever wants it can PM me

However it may be linked to my email address, so no guarantees it will work:)

  • Any good cases?

  • no more promotion :( goneeee. showing full price now

    • It's still there? $1499

      • Keep changing to full then back. But no stock atm

    • 256 gb Burgundy colour is still available.

  • +1

The $50 voucher will work if you use the exact email associated with the newsletter code, otherwise it won't work. In other words, one account can only use the $50 code once

  • +1

Anyway i change color after purchase?

    • -1

      No chance

      • +4

Just finished a phone call with samsung. Changed color successfully

        • Hi! Im trying to do this now. What number at samsung did you call and would you mind sharing any confirmation? Just cause i want to show them. Can block out any details. The chat bot people are being obtuse

          • +1

            @Rifts: 1300 362 603
I did not get any specific email about it. All it did was nowing shower grey green in my online order rather than black. Chat bots are not that helpful. Give this number a direct call. They can do it

            • @Notacommie: Thank you. Im on the phone to them now. They are being resistant but heres hoping

              • @Rifts: No love, they wouldnt do it. Since i did the online exclusive colour. So a lesson there for everyone I guess.

                • @Rifts: Thats a shame. You might want to try it again with different agent. Sometimes it works.

                  • @Notacommie: Its impossible. The special orders are coded differently and even voc dtaff can't change this.

  • Orders on 27 no update so far. Has anyone got any delivery timelines? Is there anyway to contact Samsung support?

    • Shipping from 8th may as stated when you purchased

      • Picked it up today. Mentioned shipping 27 allow 2-3 business days.
Samsung we’re spot on delivery. Just that it was dark until this morning when I got notifications of shipment

    • Mine got delivered today. Ordered on 27th Apr.

      • oh wow… mine says its arriving today but not yet dispatched… weird…

        • Same. Awaiting dispatch, but arriving 2/5/23?

Hasn’t changed to on the way yet, and it says shipping from 8/5/23. Wtf lol

      • amazing. i wish i'm that lucky. mine still processing lol

        • Tracking just showed up on my Australia post app. No updates on the Samsung website though.

          • @Jd0911: ah me too… i guess yours are being picked up at the same time as mine :-D
