Got a blue pair last sale at a similar price.

Love 'em, leagues ahead of all the QCYs / SoundPeats I've tried.

Super well reviewed on RTings and much cheaper than Airpods or the high end Bose buds.

    • +1

You've convinced me. I'm getting this as a back-up for my Sonys. I've tried several Soundpeats and have returned every single one.

      Hi Mate, few questions.
      1. Can you use 1 headphone at a time and can it be either one
      2. Does it have touch controls on the headphones, are they well implemented and can you change what they do?
      3. Is their app easy to use and navigate?
      4. How is the mic?

      • +2
        1. Yes. You can use 1 bud at a time.
        2. Yes, they are capacitative touch type controls. You can set single tap, double tap and long press.
        3. App is easy to navigate and use.
        4. I've had calls with people using these, edifier neobuds pro, creative outlier gold and nothing ear 1, people have preferred the sound from these ones despite not having a stalk. They've told me there seems to be less background noise and voice is clearer.
      • +2
        1. Yep one at a time, but you can't connect them separately from what I can tell. I am deaf in one ear so like having just one and even connecting each one to different devices. But it works fine.
        2. Yeah, tap controls. They are fine. I usually only use the right one which is for play / stop, and change noise cancelling / transparency mode. I think the left one handles other commands but I only ever use one.
        3. App is easy. It takes a second to load up so the capacative controls are easier for quick actions.
        4. Calls are okay, I don't have airpods to compare them to but most people haven't minded the quality on my end. RTings give them a middling review but actually most of the quality buds also get similar scores from them.
    • Only thing pushing me towards Airpods was the level of control, with a whole set of accessibility features controlling ANC and adaptive transparency, focusing on voices, being usable as hearing aids and ear protection. However I'm pretty sure that isn't worth $200+ to me. Plus Airpods lacking multipoint on such an expensive set is a joke.

  • +6

Multipoint makes this a great deal if the fit/sound is right for you!

    • Agreed… Multipoint is super convenient…

    • +1

      What is multipoint?

      • +7

Bluetooth multipoint s a feature that allows a single Bluetooth headset to maintain simultaneous connections to at least two source devices like a laptop and smartphone, and was introduced with the release of Bluetooth 4.0, over ten years ago. For it to function, a device must support both A2DP and HFP/HSP connections for audio streaming and talking, respectively.

        • +1

          Ah cool, thanks :)
Searched for mulitpoint on the product page but didn't find anything, but makes sense, agreed, great feature.

        • +3

This reads like a ChatGPT response lol

        • -1

Still don’t get what multipoint is?

          • +1

@bwatt72: The earphones can connect to your phone and laptop at the same time, meaning you can hear notifications from your phone while watching a movie on your laptop.

    • Thanks mate, pulled the trigger for multipoint.

Just received email, prime membership increased to $79

    • +5

That’s not a good thing to hear it’s current price was about right

      • Still only $6.58pm

      • Luckily I extended my membership for one more year recently with telstra plus points.

    • -4

Amazon are also intending on taking away free shipping with Prime eventually apparently.

      • +9

        well there goes my membership

      • +14

This would be very surprising. What sources do you have showing this? Free shipping is a key value proposition for Amazon Prime.

    • increased from what date? Still showing $59 for me

      • +1

        28 June 2023

  • +3

I have them and these are great. Better than Soundpeats

        1. Yes and yes
        2. Yes and yes and yes
        3. Yes and yes
        4. Never had a complaint.
        • Legend thanks, might getem

        1. Yes
        2. Yes
        3. Very good app
        4. Mic quality is good, no one has complaint to me yet
    • yeah I had 3 x different model soundpeats and sent them all back within the year when I got these….

  • I have buds 2 pro that im less than impressed with. Has anyone compared these to them?

    • my original buds pro v1 (right bud) has completely died case wont charge it. Thinking to buy a set for their pro/flagship offering hasn't even lasted 12-18 months of super light use since less use with more wfh.

      • The fit and passive noise cancelling on the buds 2 pro isnt great.

The tips are kind of shite as well.

If i didnt get them for badically free as a bundled deal I would have sent them back.

        • +1

Yeah I got them for a hefty price match discount. But I just ordered these earlier. Not dealing with their crap again. The battery life looks impressive compared to the buds pro as well so win win.

  • Just received an email re price increase to $79 p.a from 28 June 2023.

  • +1

How would these compare to the pixel buds pro @ $150?

    • +2

From most reviews, the sound quality is similar but the battery life on these is monstrous. 8 hours with ANC on, 10 hours with ANC off, case provides an extra 4 full charges.

I've used these for exercise and I'm using some foam tips, they have never come loose in the last two months, whereas my edifier neobuds pro and nothing ear 1 buds have fallen out before.

  • I have these and they're fantastic.

The 10 hours on a single charge quoted here must be with noise cancelling off cos that's not my experience. They run for plenty of time but no way is it that long! I got about 5 hours on a recent flight. Charging is quick too and the battery in the case stores quite a few charges.

    • From my experience with them, 10 hours is ANC off and using SBC or AAC. If you use ANC and AAC I get about 8 hours. If you use ANC and LDAC then it goes downhill pretty quickly.

  • have these from last deal and yeah they're bloody fantastic
    The noise cancellation is supreme

  • +2

    Good ANC - tick
    Customisable EQ - tick
    Multipoint -tick
Long battery (both buds and case) - tick
LDAC support - tick (though I've never used it)
    Wireless charging - tick
    Customisable tap interface - tick
    Multiple good reviews - tick

Use these almost every day for commute, garden work etc.

For the $$ they're good jiggers.

(Note I've never used an expensive pair like Sony or Bose to compare against).

  • +1

If you wait until one of the coupon sales on ebay, they will accept an offer of $97, which comes down to ~$78 after discount. My offer of $95 was rejected, you may have some luck somewhere in between those values.

    • Currently out of stock as well it seems.

  • Got this $89.99. can't complain for the price.

  • +1

Any comparison between this and the Jabra range?

  • Bought these in Nov on $89.99 deal. Great performance on calls in noisy environment too (server rooms).
Have recently lost them somewhere and am kicking my self…..
They sometimes made me feel a bit funny in the head like a slight nausea with the ANC though… Previous wired NC earphones I've had never gave me that though.

  • Thanks to everyone commenting on the quality and features of these buds. I've ordered a set to replace my dieing SoundPeats.

  • Was going to get these a few months ago but bought Sennheiser True Plus for $80

  • My Anker Soundcore earbuds are the best value earphones I've ever had, I can't stand anything else.

  • How do these go with the iPhone? was gonna grab some AirPods Pro 2s this week, but wouldn’t mind saving a heap of coin.

    • Buy, try & return if not up to par. It's as easy as that with Amazon Prime.

    • Works fine with iPhone

    • They're just Bluetooth earbuds, as are AirPods, of course they'll work fine.

  • +1

Tempting but hoping these will go down to their all-time low again soon…

  • I have done A LOT of research watching youtube videos, these seem to be probably the best value earbuds out. I had a notification set for a price drop, it's now finally happening but I'm getting cold feet haha. After reading these comments I think I might just go with it though, they've further verified what I already thought about these earbuds.

  • Jabra 65T just developed battery problems this week. Were completely fine and out of no-where they wont charge over 50% and are giving me battery low warnings. Still under warranty but high chance the ozbargain deal I got them through wont replace so, pulled the trigger on these.

Thanks OP and all commenters for sealing the deal!!

  • Thanks OP, got one..
I need replacement for my soundpeats after using it for a year. It is still fine for just listening but it starts to drop calls if longer than 15 mins.

  • Say you have a $200 headphone allocation / budget - and you don't get the difference if you spend less - would you get this earbuds or would you get something else?

  • +1

These buds are fantastic. Replaced my like $250 Jabra's with these, and the battery life is like 5x better, prefer the fit, sound quality is top notch and prefer the sound of these, noise cancelling is drastically better. Basically a huge win in all departments.

  • +3

    Now $129.

  • +2

    Price showing as $129.99

  • Yep price now $129.99

  • This should highlight how much Sony and Apple are taking us to the cleaners. I have H1s which audio and battery is top tier but fit is a 7/10 for me when used for long periods.

The T2s are the best ANC I have had for the price comparable if not better than my airpod pros.

Keen to try these but price is showing full 129 now. They’re always on sale for around $90. Might try given the reviews and comments.

  • Do these have a sensor for auto pause/resume function when removed from the ear?

    • +1

      No

  • -1

    deats by br bre

  • Got one and received it couple days ago. So far it's been great. I take the bus to work and the noise cancelling is good. The fit is also better than my previous Anker Liberty Neo.

So far I'm very happy with it.

  • These are fantastic. The fit isn't quite perfect for me though, what foam tips would be recommended?

    • +1

Daiso $3.30 foam tips and a sharp knife 😊

      • Instructions unclear. My ears are now filled with blood and I'm having trouble hearing.

  • +1

I've been using these over the last few days and I'm happy with them. Good buy for $97.

    The good

    • Sound is good, nice and clear with enough base
    • Comfortable, better than my SoundPetes.
    • The touch customisation is fantastic

    The bad

    • Noise cancelling and isolation is disappointing
    • The shape of these buds catches the oncoming wind so they aren't great on windy days
