  • Can you have two paired as stereo again?
Didnt that function stop or have they worked around and fixed it?

    • The stereo pairs have always worked for me

The group controls had problems due to legal action

      • That was resolved ages ago

    • Not had issues with using these paired. Main gotcha being they have to be the same eg can't pair a 1st gen with a 2nd gen. Minor hassle is one of the speakers becomes the one used for controlling audio etc - so if it's not the one you want as it's further away from where you normally are, the only option is to change the right hand one to be the left hand one….

The lawsuit with Sonos (that Sonos won) means that the ability to manage the volume of groups of speakers is restricted ie rather than being able to control the volume of all the speakers in the house, you have to change each set individually. A relatively minor pain.

      • Ah, is that how it goes. I thought the sonos thing meant you would have to control the left and right speaker separately.
You're saying once they are a pair its controlled together… makes sense.

I still remember when these were sold for around $18 last year

      • I managed to sell two of those for $30 each two days ago. Had it listed for $40 but nowhere near as much interest compared to when I had it for $35. People will try to lowball you and offer $20-$25 each but that's just Facebook Marketplace. It's annoying how they always try though

        • facebook marketplace is the worst place!! I was selling an iphone for 700 and had either lots of people trying to get me to lower it to $500 just because i didn't have the original box, or 9/10 people contacting me were scammer who "couldn't go do the pickup but were going to send their nephew to collect the item after they paid me online"

        • I feel Facebook marketplace is much better option to sell stuff. People lowball all the time. You put up advertisement on high price and then lower it slightly above what you really want to sell it for and then eventually will take that as a win when in his eyes he is paying half price but you instead got the price you desired.
