All the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate posts seem to be marked expired but none of the comments seem to explain why? I'm guessing Microsoft is getting more agressive about VPN detection?
In any case, anyone have any new deals in terms of getting cheap gamepass ultimate?

Similar to links above, I bought from Eneba today. Not the best discount but around $150 for 3 years. As per one of the last comments here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/13640175/redir, I had to use a different VPN as Windscribe VPN caused GeoRestriction errors when entering codes.
How did you get it to work? I continue to get errors for region via Microsoft. I've used various VPN's and then it starts to give errors about the account being from different region. Then the Store region. From reading their guide on changing my Store region it says I'll lose Microsoft Game Pass on moving Store region?
EDIT: Getting various errors, but now appears it could be related to having an active MS Gamepass Sub in Aus. I've cancelled but will need to wait until it lapses in 10 days to try again…

Yeah I completely ballsed it up. Managed to convert the 12-month live to about 4 months of Game Pass Ultimate because I used it while still having a sub active. Still slightly cheaper that paying month-to-month but I'll see how it goes once that lapses later in the year…

I wasn’t entirely sure about the conversion because it’s not clear if it will time-convert and not value-convert, the last time I upgraded 3 years, it was still $1
Not until the second confirmation of the “next payment date” of May 2026.
Third time is the charm… until they add the Family and Friends 5-pack, where it’s ~$32/month or something for 5 accounts under family sharing. NZ has this at the moment, not sure what the price will be, or if the prices will change

I followed this and it worked for me, as of 15/6/23.
I had to change it slightly.
Make sure that ALL your subscriptions have expired. I tried to do it with a couple of days remaining, and Xbox tried to convert the 12 months Live codes into shorter period of Ultimate. There doesn't seem to be a way to downgrade to regular Live unless you let it expire.
I got 3x 12 months codes from G2A. I saw people recommend Eneba, but they were way too expensive because of all the fees.
I used Nord as above.
I couldn't get the Xbox App to accept the codes, not sure why.
I used the xbox.com website. Scroll to the bottom and change the region to Turkey.
Log in, and go to the code redemption page. If you don't know the menu layout go to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/redeem?ref=xboxcom
Redeem your codes.
Log out of the website.
Go back to Xbox.com, scroll to the bottom and change your region back to Australia (or whatever it was before)
Follow steps 8 onwards listed above.
Use this code for a further discount for eneba, seemed to be the only one which worked for live
