    The SMS says The Good Guys Mt Gravatt. So I guess it only for Mt Gravatt. In the SMS, they did say Conditions apply, I am not sure whether including iPads or not.

    When they collect your details for the receipt, they should ask if you want to receive marketing communication from them. It doesn't always happen. Its only if you have this checkbox ticked and a valid mobile number in the phone field that you will receive the sms.

    (I ticked the REP box as I am associated with the Good Guys - forgot to do it earlier. However I work at one in a different state)

    I bought some electronic stuff from the shop before, so they have me in their system. I got messages from them about store promotions from time to time. I think they will give the extra 5% discount just by mentioning about the deal.

  Anyone know if this is store stock only, or will they order in with the discount price?

  Just told my girlfriend about this one and she said that the Ipswich/Booval store has 15% off today too. Perhaps a few or all stores are doing this (probably ones around Brisbane for the Ekka holiday). So it might be worth checking out your local to save driving to Mt. Gravatt :D
