The C2 has been under $2500, so this isn't a great deal. I'm only posting it so you know that LG are trying to clear out old stock. Plus, it's (hopefully) a sign that better deals are on the way for C2 units.
FYI, a JB Hi-Fi salesman informed me that "A CS is a step-up from the C2". That assessment was obviously based on the ticket price, at the time. The C2 was $2995 and the CS was $3695.

No it's not, a CS is C1 panel with C2 processor. So it sits between C1 and C2.
Damn, sales people will literally say anything to make a sale. Most of the time they know nothing about tvs 🤦. Wouldn't be hard to trip them up if you wanted to haha
i have c1, i hear c2 processor is actually quite good, better /less color banding etc but main thing, i hear for 65" C2 is 20kg lighter
I wish it was Android though. At least it has plex though, and you can sideload jellyfin but i haven't tried
Sideload? There is a Jellyfin client app in the LG app store. Works like a charm.

It is a deal. It's on sale at both HN and JB for the same price, now. The deal is still better at HN, since they include a $130 gift card.
But yeah, as I said, it's not a great deal. A great deal would be much closer to the $2k mark.
Just to clarify what the JB salesman did… I asked about a better price on the 65" C2, which is on sale for $2995 at both JB and HN. I already had a better price from HN. He started looking around at other units to fob off on me, saw the 65" CS at $3695, and imparted the wisdom about the CS being a step-up. He also couldn't do any better on the C2 price. Classic stuff. To be fair, someone from the same store contacted me the next day and they were a lot more helpful.

LG and Samsung OLED prices seem to have shot back up a bit after recent sales in the last month or so. Wondering how long we'll have to wait to see those prices again. June EOFY sales?
