    Price error??

  • Great deal.

  • +5

    Thanks, ordered.

Coupon says 50% off $19.90, but at checkout it drops down to $5.49 as you say. Likely a pricing error.

Edit: Also, so glad to have "latest and most fashion styling shapes" on my charger!

đŸ“±ă€The latest styles on the market!】 Have you find the differences between our Aerostralia Samsung Fast Charger and other 25W Charger? Our Aerostralia Samsung Fast Charger use the latest and most fashion styling shapes on the market to make your samsung charger stand out from everyone!

    • I thought I missed the deal initially because my quick maths estimated that 50% off $19.90 would be closer to $10. On checkout goes to the cheaper $5.49 - Thanks OP!

      • +4

50% coupon is off the original $27.99 price. So $14 off.

Then the seller has discounted it to $19.49.

        $19.49 - $14 = $5.49.

Often in these cases it is because the seller has misunderstood how the coupons and discounts apply and work together. Sometimes it results in items being completely free, such as the (very quickly OOS) balls for dogs recently - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/773678

        • Thanks, that explains it well!
Do you know if Amazon / the seller usually honours these types of price errors? I hear of other places doing refunds but not sure on Amazon ones

          • +1

@DiscountForThee: Yeah since it is dispatched by Amazon, then it is unlikely to be cancelled from my understanding. In that free deal I linked it was discussed a bit, and apparently discount coupon mistake deals shipped by Amazon have always been honoured in the past.

  • ordered one too. Perfect timing OP. Thanks

    • -1

You can order more, I ordered 3.

      • +2

Happy to take one off you if you don't need 6 chargers!

  • Thanks ordered!

  • Would these charge an iPhone at fast charging speeds or just Samsung?

    • Unlikely, can’t see if it supports PD.
From Apple’s site on fast charging- “A comparable third-party USB-C power adaptor that supports USB Power Delivery (USB-PD)“

      • +2

I wouldn't place any bets on it but hey, at least the model number has "PD" in it:

        WT25WPD

  • Thanks OP, great find!

  • Awesome…Thank you

  • +1

Not sure how safe these will be. Not worth the fire risk in my opinion.

    • +1

A pricing error doesn't make it less safe, but yeah, idk about Aerostralia. I'll find out.

    • +3

Yeah, if it was Heymix everyone would be negging this; but it's another random brand and nobody seems to care. They are probably all made in the same factory.

      • +2

ah cheeky branding. I read samsung charger and thought it's from samsung and jumped the gun. Bloody rascals :D

      • +2

This looks like a knock-off of a Samsung charger. I'd probably trust it even less just for that reason.

  • Thank you. Ordered..!!

  • +1

    price has gone up…

  • Expired, was just too slow!

  • +7

Beware buying cheap devices that plug into the mains power. If they don't have good design with proper isolation and safety features you run the risk of destroying your devices, or electrocuting yourself. Not the area where one should buy generic products.

    • +1

      Or burning the house down…

  • -1

    Can't get this price anymore

  • the usb c to c cables makes the deal already worth

  • Thanks actually got in on a deal this time..

  • No longer available. Looks like I just missed out.

  • +1

Shows 27 something, I swear its always OZB notifying users after famous deal is expired (like 10 mins + posting)

    • It's how it works, it can't be always in the minute it's posted.

  • Missed out it seems.

  • Pulled. lol. Cooked by ozbargain.

  • Got the deal cheers OP

  • I'm in a fine balance of cursing that I missed out on a great deal vs thanking myself for not spending $5.49 on something which I didn't really need.

  • +1

Finally got in on a deal with quick expiry lol

    • +2

Thanks. First one comes down to $5.24 for a 2 port 35W USB C charger and 2 USB C to Lightning cables, so a definite bargain!

      • Second one comes down to $3.24!

    • +2

      STILL ACTIVE!

    • +2

Nice, $5.24 and $3.24 respectively at the checkout. The discount code may have a wrong description.

      • No idea how - I had to add and remove these items from the cart a few times to get the prices you mentioned

    • +1

Thanks. Real deal in the comments.

    • +1

The 35W one is a great deal, since it does 20V at 1.75A.

    • Thanks Ozzie

    • I already ordered but just checking will the iPhone charger work on an iPhone 7 Plus safely (sorry I don't have iPhone so don't know much about them, this is for my missus!)

    • You are the real MVP. Ordered two of each. Don't need them but you never know lol

    • Thanks, bought 2, hope these no name brands are reliable

  • For iPhone https://amzn.asia/d/bYgTFiN

Anyone reckons this would be a great buy too?

looks identical and only $22.49 with prime.

    • Was $14.99 for the 2-pack with a 2m cable.
      Yesdex "brand" as well.

  • +1

@nicholasv rmb when we got this free đŸ€

  • +2

Some recent experience ordering a cheap USB-C fast charger. Ours stopped working properly after 3 weeks. It would start charging, stop charging and repeat every 10 seconds. Lucky I spotted it as it wouldn't have been good for our phones. Even more bizarre, the issue doesn't repeat itself when mixing the charging block and the USB-C cord with other genuine paired parts.

  • ordered Thanks!

  • -4

Thanks OP. Managed to get 3 using 3 different accounts! Win!

  • Already over??? Unreal

  • No feedback on these, are we sure it won't be same as Heymix chargers…

    • +3

Knock off of the 25W Samsung Charger. It would, IMO, have the same issues.

Personally, I would be avoiding knock-offs even more than the random re-branded chargers.

      • So likely to overheat like my Samsung charger did?

  • Got a dispatch notice.

  • +3

I see a lot of people here desperate to buy a $5 charger and plug it in to their $2000 phones in their $1 million dollar house.
    Why?

    • +2

      YOLO

    • +4

Chargers are seen as a complete black box device to many Ozbargainers. Plug it in, it charges - they're happy.

When you buy from a reputable brand, they are established companies with a proven track record or if you're buying a more popular charger, they come under scrutiny. This to a degree, bypasses the requirement to know what is inside. There are often tear downs of these devices.

When you buy these random or unbranded chargers, there's no brand history, no traceability and an entity that folds up if there are issues. Even brands with (allegedly)other dodgy products as shown by an Ozbargainers, findings supported in other comments and reviews isn't enough to stop these users.

Certain Ozbargainers seem to think that review score, a USB PD Tester, or a working charger is a good metric and proof that these chargers are fine. They're not.

We know from various tear downs of fake/cheap chargers that they often cut corners and can be dangerous.

Take your pic of vids -

    • Lot's of things to charge aside from phones.

The 35W charger for $5.24 was a great deal for hobbyist stuff. I use USB PD triggers on all sorts of projects, and it is great having extra chargers, and one that can do up to 20V. USB-C is great for DIY electronics.

Absolutely I would not plug my actual phone or laptop into this charger. I have a range of quality chargers for that.

  • Safe to use ?

    • Will test out tomorrow.

      • Any update?

        • See comment below. Have used it to charge an S21 Ultra a few times. Each time from 18-19% up to 75%.
Shows as Super Fast Charging on my phone and charge time is similar to my original 25 watt Samsung charger. So seems to work fine.

  • But does it come free CCP spyware??

    • At that price I'd hope so.

How do I spy if it's for charging a screwdriver tho?

      • Where there is a will there is a way!!

        • Where there's a screw, there's someone trying to film it…

  • I got mine, it doesn’t work and pops a message : unknown accessory. :(

  • Just got mine, only fast charge and not SUPER FAST CHARGE…

    • Which device?

      • S22 Ultra

        • -1

Does it show Super fast charging with 25W PPS chargers?

          • @ihfree: Lol, love the downvotes.

You've got to think why do entities knock off Samsung's design down to the "super fast charging" on the side? In my batch of videos on cheap chargers, they skimped on components and made up for it with metal weights in some of them.

Buying cheap chargers is one thing - knock off chargers is the next step in the wrong direction.

Best of luck with your purchase!

            • @ihfree: Do you do teardowns yourself?

I bought four, don't really need them, so would happily sacrifice one if you live in Sydney.

              • @b2dz: No, this is just based on other reviews/videos I've seen on knock off chargers.

There's a Youtuber Diodes gone wild if someone is interested in sacrificing one -

Here's an example of an Australian charger he was sent - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rv9i_y23zwA

When I use the 65w GaN charger, and the phone shows that it is a super fast charging, and it takes 32 minutes to fully charge. With this 25w charger, it shows fast charging, and it takes 32 minutes to fully charge too.

      • I have this https://www.belkin.com/au/usb-c-pd-3.0-pps-wall-charger-30w/
 which shows super fast charge…

        • Which phone? It showed super fast changing with the 25w changer when I had S21 Ultra.

          • @jimojr: S22 Ultra

            • +1

@R3XNebular: Yes, because super fast charging on the S22 Ultra is 45W. A 25W charger was never able to do super fast charging.

              • @Prong: Fully charged at the same time using the 65w GaN changer on my S23 Ultra and this 25w changer. It takes 23 minutes to fully charge with the battery level at 73%, 26 minutes at 67%.

                • @jimojr: Yah, super fast charging on phones is more marketing than a real world useful thing in most cases.

It can do it, but only briefly, and the difference overall when charging for longer periods is small.

It comes down to heat. You can charge a lithium battery fast, but not once it starts to heat up. And charging it heats it up. So super fast charging will much more rapidly charge it for a very short period. Great if you want the most charge possible when plugging it in for 5 minutes.

But less useful if charging over a long period, and the charge rates drop to similar levels, limited by the temperature of the battery.

  • got the 35w dual port version delivered, it is able to charge Lenovo ThinkPad X1 without giving the " low power charger" error message.

  • I bought both the 25 watt black charger as originally posted on this deal as well as the 35 watt charger that Ozzzie linked to in the comments.
Was a bit nervous plugging them in given the comments.

Early impression favourable. They both charge a S21 ultra on the Super Fast Rate (ie. 25 watt), with the Super Fast Charging indicator showing on the phone. Charge time similar to my 25 watt genuine Samsung fast charger.
Charger became mildly warm after 20 min of charging, in very acceptable range.

    So, so far so good.
