@JamesLucas: It's official, $19 Cashback. The main tile is updated to say $19, not 19%. This line has unfortunately been added 'cashback offers don’t apply for $2 and $10 SIM purchases'
My Cashback from a couple of $2 sims has not yet been affected.
Cashback is instant and the terms don't say anything about a timeframe to activate, or even that you need to.
@frugalftw: Ah right. What happens if you have excess funds available in your Zip account? Can you withdraw it or spend it on something else? So far I've managed to get 4 SIMs without owing anything to Zip
@EsteemedCuckold: Can’t withdraw it unfortunately. I reckon they’ll be reversing all these Cashback to be honest… don’t think they’ll be keen paying hundreds (maybe thousands) out to everyone.
Have done a few but converted them to QFF points instead.
Also seems to be unable to purchase any more atm.

@apple0604: Yes they will sit there for 12 months I think. If no cashback activity for 12 months they gonna email you a month before and saying the balance is gonna reset to zero
Does this Boost SIM need to be activated by a certain date? I'm thinking of getting some for visitors at the end of the year.
Chat rep says they're usually good for about a year, but the expiry on the back of the packet will say exactly when it expires.

no. i've been activating several sims on the same account. just get a new number each time. or you can port in another non-boost or telstra number. (that number can't have been with boost for the past 30 days)

Can you please more info on that telstra prepaid offer at Colesworth? Is it advertised offer? How often it is available at them?
I just check the prepaid sim section at either coles or Woolies whenever I do grocery shopping every week. Or I check the online catalogue.
If the $40 Telstra prepaid sim is selling for $10 or $15, I buy it straight away so I can switch to it once the boost sim expires after 28 days.
Anecdotally, these come around maybe every 2 months.

If Telstra you may have some difficulty.. Not sure.
Aldi etc who only have the wholesale telstra network should be no issue.

A year ago, Amaysim had so many offers of free SIMs. Parked my rarely used regular number there for a year (only incoming calls & SMS after 1st month). After a year or more, receive an email before service is terminated. Receiving those emails now.

Amaysim @$10/yr PAYG is an option for long term storage of number.From 24 May, 7 days left for 365 days.
Another option is Optus Flex. $1 per day. Activate for a day then turn off renewal. Number stays active for 180days. Before then do another $1for a day and turn off again.
or use the 7 day free trial, make sure you select the 4g only plan, the 5g doesnt have a free trial
oh wow another me. I have two golden numbers for my two daughters when their old enough. maybe they won't even have phones then. they are on the now not available $1/month for 50MB TPG plans. Amaysim PAYG is where I have the one for my son parked, $10/year

Bought this and still havent received any tracking emails for them, has any one else got it? Hoping itll get here before my Mate cycles over on the 2nd.
They usually post out within 2 business days, but you don't always get a tracking email. If you're worried I'd contact them after a couple of days, they can give you the tracking number.
