  • If Amazon.com would allow shipping, the retail price (ex-delivery) in the US is $89.99

so you're saying amazon is probably dearer once we add delivery? The point of posting this is….

  • Every time I went to JB Hi-Fi or MYER, this demo speaker in store never been setup and no staffs knew how to set it up even I asked. =_=|||| Don't know if it is a good speaker or not.
Can I stream my music from my Mac and iPhone with this speaker thought wifi? or only Sony products can connect with that thought wifi?

    • Hi Bonus999 - Sony Products will connect natively however, you can still use your Mac and iPhone through a DLNA application (one that I've found is iMediaShare for iPhone). If you want to use the Party Streaming Feature (running the same music to multiple locations) you do need compatible devices.

  • How does this compare to the Sonos systems in terms of functionality?

I have a QNAP NAS that all my music sits on. I presume that this Sony system can hook into that in the same way the Sonos system does.

    • Not the speaker I am looking for I think. I will keep looking for better alternatives (or just go straight to Sonos)

  • Will this work with a Sony BDV-E890W Home Theatre System?
By work, I mean turn it on and music currently playing on stereo will play through speaker.

The system has two wireless rear speakers.

    What is the range like?

    • Hi mathew42 - I couldn't find the BDV-E890W so I'm assuming you meant the BDV-E980W, in any case this system will not work with the SANS300 Speaker. Unfortunately, the party streaming (which is what you have described to do) only into the models which were released this year BDV-E290, E690 & N990. As for the range, can you please confirm what you are referring to? The Wi-Fi range would depend on your router but if it's the sound range etc I may need to do a bit more research to give you a clearer answer.

      • Would it work with the cmt g2 nip which came out last year in the uk but i think only this year in aust
