Starco? Who dat? The website address on the brochure starcolighting.com.au goes nowhere

Please can you tell us how the warranty process works on these

    • I am fairly sure its their own import (Star sparky)

    • Star Sparky Direct will provide 3 years warranty.

      • -1

That's a bit more information than expected. So return to you, you pay shipping? Customer pays? What?

        • Star Sparky will cover the shipping fee if the product has any problems.

  • got 3, thanks

    • Thanks for your order!

just going to put it out there that bunnings does a 4000k at $19.76 for those who need 4000k, and offer a 5 year warranty (that is honestly insane really)

    • Hey, almost same product? Was $70 Star Sparky?

        • The image on your website is identical to the Bunnings one, just mirrored….

      • The lighting quality is different.
        Starco's power 12W, LED Chip is 1PCS COB, CRI>90.
        Starco's body is Aluminum.

          ok fair enough

          Starco's body is Aluminum.

The bunnings one aluminium too according to their description

          starco power 12w cob

ok - but still only 780lm according to your listing - thats pretty average

Just to be clear, not saying anything really about your 'deal' about who is better who is not, but the days of being able to sell it at $69.59 as per your referenced original sell price are longgggggg gone. Your option is only for 3000k too. I am just sharing an option for those who need different colour.

          • @Jimothy Wongingtons: Domus canisters are $50ish + GST trade price and customers want them all the time, I’ve installed 100s.

From the specs only and not having seen the light, the Starco seems to be far better than the Bunnings light.

I bought 4 of the Bunnings lights yesterday, they’re fine for what I need them for but they’re definitely a <$20 grade fitting.

I suspect the Starco would be closer to the Domus in quality.

Remember that Domus is barely mid range anyways so really we are arguing semantics on what is pretty much junk.

        • Ordered when it was $30 back in Jan this year. Decent quality.

        • Sarco:
          12W
          Lumen Output: 780lm
          Efficacy: 65lm/w

          Bunnings:
          10W
          Lumen Output: 770lm
          Efficacy:66lm/w

Technically, the bunnings model is more efficient.

          • @bionikal: Bunnings ones are not available in warm white though.

90+ CRI is a massive difference in quality. It also explains why it has a lower output than the bunnings fitting as efficiency is reduced when CRI is increased. Not the same product.

  • Seem to be getting negged above for asking sensible questions that might help others. Any chance of raising the bar folks?
