Now I just need more batteries

Yep. Great deal. But a dupe of this one.

This item is not in the title so it's not a dupe. It was popular last time it was posted so deserves to be called out in it's own post.

      • -1

No, not in the title, but it's linked in the post description. So I guess it's up to moderator discretion then.
Doesn't seem to make sense to split the chat into multiple sub threads.

… you could at least link to the original Bunnings deal post that enumerates all the ozito items on sale as part of the Aldi tool sale product matching.

It clearly lists the fast charger. Whether or not we want 11 separate posts for each of the items it lists rather than the 1 summary post is up to the moderators to determine.

        • is up to the moderators to determine.

Then let's leave it up to them, up until this point they have left it up despite the reports so there is no issue with this post.

  • Waiting for a deal on the dual charger!

  • hmm single is slower than the dual, my dual is 75mins vs 80 mins for 4ah …..

  • Picture shows the original version with 1 extra volt.
Latest revision C is smaller and has a shabby power cord.

  • How does this charger differ to the Compact Fast Charger ?

For an extra $25, might be worth getting a spare drill battery.

    • The 2Ah battery with fast charger was $20 in the past.
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/725886

      • That was a clearance on the 2.0Ah battery and charger pack. Unfortunately there were none near me at the time.

        • Unlucky! At my local Bunnings the stack was huge. Like the got them in for the sale. Shame we probably wont see that price again!

          • @Rajserp: Most can be found again on ebay at horrendous prices!

  • Thinking of gutting this, installing a voltage converter so I can power stuff like a 12v electric blanket or portable guitar amp with ozito battery. Wish Ozito would just make one. Who wouldn’t buy one if they had ozito batteries?

    • +1

U can buy the power wheel adapter and a step down converter module to what ever amp u like, instead of gutting it

      • Nice option

I reckon it'd be much bulkier than necessary, particularly given it's a non-compact charger and only a single battery slot. $14 is cheap, but I think this Ozito USB adaptor for $17 might be a better size.

For the ozBargain edition I cobbled a bare bones ozito adapter for a brass monkey fridge with scraps of sheet metal and some thermoset plastic for like ~$0.50. buck converter was another ~$3. Best part is the 4 Ah fits in the fridge's battery compartment.

      • Good options.

        • If you find an even better option let us know!

edit: talked myself into buying the USB adaptor..

      • Usb is 5v wont power 12v accessories

        • Right you are. The idea is to gut the electronics and install a buck converter to bring it down to 18V :-)

Does anyone know the regular price on this?

  • Can anyone advise where can I buy adaptors to be able to use ryobi batteries on ozito tools or what other branded batteries can I use to replace ozito PXC batteries because by ozito battery died.

    • +1

Do a search on Ebay and AliExpress for "adapter for Ryobi battery to Ozito tool" or "adapter for Ryobi battery to Einhell tool".
Ozito seem to be rebadged Einhell products.

      • Got mine from aliexpress works on tools not for charging
