This is the nector gods of Brie cheese. FYI: The Costco Crate is 454grams and it is $22.99 @ $50.64 per k/g. Rather not go to Costco and ruin my life on a weekend. For $13.40/ 200grams at coles I would recommend giving it a shot. It is divine!

  • How does it compare to Le Pave that you used to be able to get from Aldi?

  • This Age goodfood panel only gives it a 73/100 while giving a Castello Creamy White 83/100

    • Different cheese. The one rated in that is a double cream. This is a triple cream.

  • Omelette du fromage

Standard Daffinois at my local coles is $60/kg

    • Wouldn't get out of bed for standard

  • I like to eat cheese

  • Based on what users say about this cheese, it seems like it is the type thats best on crackers with wine kind of type. As a light meal on picnic kind of occasion.

I was hoping for a cheese that'll go well to make sandwiches or sourdough bread. So far being lactose intolerant I've tried Gouda, Coby all didn't hit me that much.

    • Interesting because those cheeses still have lactose in them.

      • *Hit me as in I don't find any taste out of them.

I just picked them for the lactose out of research.

    • If lactose intolerance is bad for you (latte coffees are my favourite but a problem for me), I'd recommend lacteeze or lacto free tablets. One tablet and you're good for the next 1-2hrs. Eat and drink all the lactose you want.

  • Does this taste similar to Brillat-Savarin?

  • interestingly coles in Glen Waverley has the normal fromager at $60 a kilo. maybe check other store as well.

  • how does this compare to twisties?
