    Eh doesn't seem that great considering the TOTK limited console + game was $510 on eBay/Gamesmen. Hopefully there will be some decent cashback or points offers to stack to sweeten the deal a bit..

      Well only if we can go back in time or the deal is back again soon.
      It was OOS on the particular Saturday night when the deal was supposed to be on, then it's back in stock 2 days later when the eBay Plsu 22% offer has end.

      Zelda console in that deal - without the game - minus 10 per cent CB ($20 cap) that was offered in the morning, was $419 out of pocket. I was happy with that win 👍

      As far as I know, nintendo said they wont be announcing a new console in 2023.
      Next year, maybe.

      If you really are worried about a new console being released, just buy a cheap used one on ebay.
      I just got a switch lite for $120. and I regularly buy normal switches for low 200s.

        True, but also a company isn't going to say 'Yeah, actually we are announcing a new console in November, so don't buy any'. IMO, this might be a deal comparatively but $500 for mobile hardware that was already outdated when it released is far from a deal.

              @robeh: Many months or even a year before the Dreamcast was released, Sega openly said that "The Sega Saturn is not the future of Sega." This effectively killed any chance of success for the Saturn.

      Switch 2 will be coming prolly next year, as Nintendo says they only expect to sell 15 million Switches this year on the upper limit. But YOLO, may as well buy it now imo.

      I got one earlier this year even though I had a shared switch previously living with bro only 1 of us could take.

      I foresee a switch pro released late next year 2024 or early the following. I surmise it will not replace the current switch but simply be added to the family.

      I'm predicting a screen upgrade to QHD. In portable mode it will support better frame rates and higher resolution gaming than current switch. Docked will be native QHD maybe 4k for low end titles for 30fps otherwise have 4k upscaling potential with various fps support. I'd be surprised to see a completely new console idea cause they have success with the current framework and services. Launch title is either Mario, Metroid, Neither or an upgrade to existing titles…

    Was a pricing error on Amazon yesterday,
    Picked up a Nintendo Switch OLED for $439.00
    They had it for the non OLED price to price match JB I think
    Went to back to $509 not long after I ordered

      There’s a Nintendo announcement in Spring which people think they will use to announce the new console and have it in stores in time for Christmas but that’s all a guess.
