    I'd prefer the next model up NP550P5C-S03AU as it has 1600x900 screen for $100 more.

      Pity OW doesn't have the NP550P5C-S03AU for pricematch. In terms of raw performance (video encoding, gaming, virtualisation), are the two models exactly the same?

      Edit: Forgot about the extra 2GB RAM on the above. Might go for the higher model one if the extra memory improves performance.

      Also, reading the Gift Card promo T&C, is MLN and OW 'participating Australian retail stores'?

      This is hardly a gaming laptop (the one vid_ghost posted).

      Still, the price is alright and Samsung make good laptops.

      Yeah its a better laptop but the higher rez does tax the GPU more :) but with the other laptop anti aliasing is a must.

      Yeah much better then Apple garbage, Congrats.. now you only need to put a Samsung 830 256GB SSD in it like i did and watch that thing fly!

      This one has a videocard thats 3 times as fast. and has a much better cooling system!
