$5 Burritos, $5 Coronas & $5 Frozen Margaritas from 5pm Friday & Saturday at Mad Mex QV [VIC]

150

Burritos are usually $10. Not sure how much drinks are but definitely more than $5. Not entirely sure where this is located in QV. My guess is it's probably in the centre area near Max Brenner.

Personal opinion: Best burritos I've had in Australia from the Melbourne Central branch. Very similar to what you'd get at a tacqueria in the US except a lot more expensive here.

Remember to get a Max Mex card. 10 main meals and you get a free meal.

  • See you all there!

  • Oooh so close. Coming to Melbourne for a week next Wednesday. Had one of these in Sydney earlier in the year and have to agree they are pretty tasty. If I can figure out where QV is I might have to go there anyway. We don't have Mad Mex in Perth :(
Edit: yes we do, I've just been too lazy to look. Oh well need to find food in Melbourne also…

    • Its in the centre of the city. Has big w, woolworths, hn in it. There is also one in the centre across the street

      • You'll come past it heading to grill'd from Swanson st

    • i guess it depends what you're after, but if you're visiting melbourne, i would suggest that there are a lot of other restaurants and cafes in melbourne i would be checking out before going to mad mex…(not that i don't enjoy mad mex!)

      How dare you!

  • I doubt they will be stamping the cards, but still a good deal. (Shame it's not all stores :-))

Went and got this tonight, got two burritos, two margaritas and one corona and they wanted $27 until I corrected them with all of the signs hanging up in the store.
The line was long and steady the entire time I was sitting there eating but it moved pretty quickly.
Looked like everyone was keen on the deal.

To top it off, they came around to all tables to give out free plates of churros!

And maybe to top that off too, there were four guys in complete Mexican clothes and hats playing music outside.

Good way to start for them!
