Not sure about that SRP, Amazon have them for $88 which is comparable, most aussie places i looked had them at $169 which is a joke.

Amazon won't ship those headphones to Australia. Make sure you check next time

I never claimed they do ship to Australia, i was just pointing out that SRP seems inflated

Wheres the QQQ discount for ozbargainers?

  • Not in the same price range but wireless headphones I would highly recommend Sennheiser RS 170.

  • I was comparing Sennheiser to these, was definitely leaning towards Sennheiser, but now these are only $80, must await the QQQ :P

For those interested - sennheiser RS120 for $135 (mp3 outlet store)
or $128 with free postage (ebay)

EDIT: Removed links (just ask if you want them again)

  • Just Google up some reviews of the rs170 and rs120 but they seem to be wireless for home tv use only? Not bluetooth for phones like this Philips one. This one doesn't have too flash reviews though. I guess a lot of it has to do with bluetooth audio compression…

    • Yer sorry, they are wireless not Bluetooth so not really comparable, I missed the Bluetooth part when I recommended the rs 170 which is what I use at home.

  • It would be perfect if its a bluetooth headset. Then I can use this for phone calls or Skype. Still a good price tho.

    • Actually COTD description says its got built in mic. If audio quality is the same as the $80 headphones then yeah its a good deal. The dse sportzbeatz $60 headphone is the same Laser bluetooth headphone from officeworks which I have. Ok audio call quality but I paid $37 for mine which im happy about.

  • I have these. Music quality is quite good, but bass comes out if used with the supplied wires (which are good quality thick wires I might add). I haven't tested battery life fully but seems to last quite long. The pads are comfortable but sound leaks out if turned up slightly loud.
I haven't used the call features yet.

I'm really happy with these headphones even when I paid $90+ for them at a closing down dse store.

  • Found these in the dse deal for $60

And this other Philips one for $120

Couldn't find any reviews… Safe to assume they're rubbish? :-\
