    • Link to rumours of Y upgrade?

      • No specific link, just google it.

When the refresh happens, it will happen to Model Y due to it being based on Model 3

Big clearout before the model 3.5 later this year.

    • Model e3.5 huh?

      • Well, the mid life facelift that I personally have dubbed the model 3.5 šŸ™‚

  • The deal here isn't the free supercharging, which as others have mentioned is limited in Adelaide (there will be a line up at our very limited superchargers), but that the perfromance y (inventory stock) is actually 6% off usual retail price. Huge saving….

    • You can get 10KW a day free from Jolt/Volt chargers here in Adelaide, takes like 5mins to charge 30km free.
Really good if got a PHEV like outlander, if lived near a charger and had a small commute, could go to work and shops for free.

Maybe Tesla celebrating Pride month for its owners

    • Iā€™m actually dying šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

  • Keep in mind that at least in VIC, LCT threshold is going up 1st of July, meaning that you will probably save more money from just waiting for the next FY for some models as on road costs go down.

    • Doesn't LCT applies at the time of the transaction which actually occurs upon delivery. You just need to pay $400 to book. So technically the car can be booked now to secure this bargain, and still get revised LCT threshold, when the car's delivered in Jul-Sep. No need to wait till Jul, IMO.

Buy a $70k car to get $500 max. You got to be kidding me.

    • It is such a bargain

FBT exemption and state government cashback gives about a $10K saving for 1 yr novated lease.

Not even. Who goes on road trips with these. Who has time to waste while it takes 30 mins to charge????

  • sales are dropping off…….. 1) economic headwinds 2) people waiting for the new model

Give me my cancelled RHD Model S Plaid! It still looks barely any different to my previous Model S Performances by the way, so much for R&D/innovation. I don't want these Model 3's that I see literally every minute while driving, the market is flooded with them, I'm not a sheep.

    • It's like owning an iphon. Everyone has it.

I am a EV and Tesla enthusiast. But this offer is pretty terrible and certainly would not sway anyone into purchasing a 80-100k+ car for a benefit of $100-300 max depending on how often you can actually get to a charger. It should be 12mths free minimum.

I am not an EV enthusiast as it takes 30 mins to charge the car after driving it 300km. My car can go 1000km on a charge and it takes 4 minutes to fill it up.

I cannot believe people put up with 30 mins charges like that. Also it costs 60c for super charging.

My Landcruiser has 2000km range on one charge. Same price and much better build quality and longevity.

Why bother with Tesla or super charging??
