PlayStation Plus Deluxe TL₺460 (~A$26.30) for 12 Months + Fees @ PSN Turkey (Proxy, OlduBil, Revolut Required)

1250

Thanks to ISP / I Smell Pennies and the current Turkish Lira crash, I could stack PS Plus and EA Access for the next couple of years.

Evidence:
https://imgur.com/a/YVDryBt

Requirements:
• Turkish PSN Account
• OlduBil Account
• Revolut Account (I guess any Bank should work)
• Turkish Proxies
• patience

SETUP

Part 1 Turkish PSN Account

This will not work on your current Australian PSN account. You will have to sign-up for a new Turkish PSN Account. To do that, visit the PSN homepage and create a new account with the region set to Turkey. Use a fake address. (I usually use a hotel in a Turkish city.)
Alternatively, sign up on your PS5 and set the region to Turkey.

Part 2 OrduBil and Revolut

Thanks again to ISP / I Smell Pennies

Visit ISP’s post from yesterday and follow Part 1-2b.

https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/784047

Part 3 Turkish Proxies

You can use free proxies from hidemy.name and ProxyNova.

PURCHASE of PSN or EA ACCESS subscription

Top up your OrduBil Account as explained in ISP’s post Part 2b.
Log in with your Turkish PSN Account to your PS5 and add the OrduBil card to your payment method.
Go to the network settings and edit your existing SSID by pressing the options button. Go to Proxy, select “Use”, and type in the provided IP addresses in Part 3. (patience IS KEY! Most provided IP addresses won't work. You will get a lot of “failed” messages.)

Once you succeed, you must go to the main settings menu and go to Users and Accounts -> Account -> Payment and Subscriptions -> Add funds.
(If the proxy connection fails, you won't get past “Account and have to try a different proxy IP address”)
Add funds TL 460 and go to the PSN Store to subscribe. Adding funds is essential for subscribing. You can't buy the subscription straight via credit card.

@Azro: True. Not really keen on speaking to someone in Turkey though lol.

        • Same here, I got banned today when I tried to login from PS5. Luckily I haven't put any money into the Turkey PS account just yet.

Also tried to login from the website and it says "This account is permanently suspended from PlayStation Network due to violations of the PlayStation Network Terms of Service and User Agreement."

    • sooo lost money ???

  • Topping up is the easy part. You wont' have any issues with this.
Just make sure that when you sign in on your console, or Playstation mobile app that you're coming from a Turkey IP address.

    • so by that logic, if a Turkish person visits Australia and logs in to his account he will get a permanent ban as well?

      • +2

I've been downloading my monthly ps+ games and new purchases using my turkish account on the ps5 without a vpn for over a year now without any issues.

  • Curious to know if anyone is getting banned for playing without a proxy? I just topped up to 2029 this morning and not sure to turn proxy off or not.

    • Is everyone continuing to use a proxy even after topping up, or have you stopped using a proxy once you've subscribed? Feeling a bit anxious now, since I found out @techhit was banned for playing without a proxy.

      • +1

Shouldn't you guys be playing on your aus accounts? DL games on Turkish acc and use main(Aus) acc to play? I signed up last year for 5yrs and haven't had any issues, granted i signed up using vpn but without messing around with proxies, but claim my monthly ps+ games etc without a vpn and no issues so far.

        • So you claim the monthly games while signed into the turkey account without proxy, and then five years from now when the membership expires and Sony patch this loophole you won't be able to play those monthly games ever again?

          • +2

            @AustriaBargain: Correct.
Saying that though, I think of this as a cheap rental service where I can play and trial hundreds of full games (as opposed to free demos) for a few years.
The money I’m saving from this is more than enough to buy whatever games I may want to actually replay on my main AU account during sales.

            • @zonra: Aren't you worried about being banned like Techhit was?

              • +1

@AustriaBargain: Can't speak for zonra but I honestly couldnt care less about losing access to older games once the sub runs out, I can count on one finger the number if games I've gone back and replayed. As for getting banned, hundreds of people off OzB have signed up for turkish ps+, so far this is the only instance I've heard off where someone got their account banned, god only knows how he's managed to get himself banned.

              • @AustriaBargain: To be completely honest, very much so.
I completed the the subs last night when the banning issue hasn’t been brought up.
I’ve already invested the time and $$$ so I’ll just let it run its course, figuring that hopefully I’ll get to use it for at least 2 years then I’d still come out ahead.
Would I do it again? Probably not, too much effort and risk (if I get banned tomorrow that’s $160 and 3-4 hours down the drain). YMMV
P/s: echoing Kishman, I barely have time to fully get into new games, and I already have a stash of games I wish to hopefully revisit someday, so not too worried about losing access in 5-10 years time. And like I said, if you see a gem that you like, just pick it up on sale when it’s 4 years old for like $5.

        • @austriabargain - Did you download the games via proxy or VPN on your turkish account?

  • I signed up a few days ago on my ps5 without proxy, haven’t bought it yet. If I use a proxy to buy the ps plus now and then login with a proxy each time after that then i guess i should be fine?

  • Does anyone know what billing address they used on playstation network when trying to add the funds? I used oldubil.

    • I used the same address I used to set up the PSN account and it worked.

  • Got it to work ! Thanks mate :) much appreciate.
I got the Deluxe 3 months because I had some left over from the xbox 36 months membership.
I am now going to stack another 12 months , I hope it will.

  • +2

    got it to work.
used this proxy list https://spys.one/free-proxy-list/TR/ and added two years worth
same steps as every one else.
    1. money to wise
    2. money from wise to oldubil
    3. use nordvpn turkey to get on PS store on web and add oldubil card
    4. go to PS5 and change proxies until you find one that works. this part took the longest.
    5. once you get one that works, add funds to wallet.
    6. finally, purchase subscription times two.

    lolllll

    thanks op!

    • @tobia after purchasing subscription did you remove proxy or continuing to play with turkey proxy?

      • +1

I removed it. Can confirm its working and am downloading forbidden west

        • Do you need the turkey account signed in to download new games or can you do it with the AU account?

          • @AustriaBargain: When you want to download something using the Turkey account you sign into that and download then you can switch to your AUS account while it's downloading.

            • @GoonSack69: Do you need to enable the proxy each time you sign into the Turkey account to download something?

              • +1

@AustriaBargain: You only need the proxy for signing up for the PS Plus subscription. You can download and use the account like normal without the proxy.

      • +1

        Removed proxy straightaway

    • Since you connect to PS store on web via VPN, can't you add funds at this step instead of doing it on PS5?

      • doesn't like it

      • Tried, doesn’t like it.
Need to change to working proxy then add funds to wallet and then purchase

  • Im getting an unidentified error despite using the Control ID server

  • how do I use control D?
I am probably using it wrong. didn't use proxy. just changed Primary and secondary DNS

  • +4

Got it working and purchased a year, ran out of money on my card with the xbox deal too but will get more when I can.

Using a few methods in this post and comments combined got it working for me

Went to https://controld.com/ and created a free account
Profiles Tab - Created a default rule to redirect all traffic to turkey
Devices Tab - Added device, selected Windows (doesn't really matter) it gives you 2 IPs to use for your DNS

Turned on PS5 with my Australian account
Settings - Network - Settings - Set up Network Connection
On my wifi SSID, click options, advanced settings
DNS Settings - Set to manual
Enter the Primary and Secondary DNS from the Controld you just created

    Swap user for playstation
Create new user with Turkish account and Turkish address
Made random Turkish address here https://www.bestrandoms.com/random-address-in-tr
Then googled for the City's postcode as it doesn't appear on that site
(Write this address as you need it for billing later)

After account created, followed the steps in the post to add credit card and then add currency
I encountered a heap of error messages when adding the card and currency, but went through on the 2nd or 3rd times
Added 200, 200, 60 and then purchased 1 year of deluxe

Once I have PS Plus Deluxe, change DNS back to automatic (internet speeds were really bad)
Confirmed that PS5 console sharing is on https://www.playstation.com/en-au/support/account/ps5-consol…
Download the games from PS Plus I want

Sign out and back in with my Australian PSN account
    Select the game and play

    • +1

thank you for the great instructions.
I did all of that and for some reason it keeps on failing at the payment page when I go to add funds

      • Mine did fail a few times but I kept trying and it went through.

        • Also, the crypto.com card doesn’t let me transfer to Turkish lira. The support says that Turkish lira isnt on the card

    • Hi mate - any chance you can tell me how I 'create a default rule to redirect all traffic to Turkey'?

Everything else I'm fine with but I just don't know how to do this part.

      • Actually I found it in the Profile Options, but when I use the IP addresses I'm getting from the Devices tab, my PS5 is not connecting to the Internet. Not sure if I am missing a step.

        • (Sorry the problem was I still had the proxy section active in my Internet settings - from trying proxy servers) Now I'm at the payment stage but keeps failing…

          • @toastface: Seems like Jayboi is having a similar issue.
Not sure what else to try sorry

  • still no success using express VPN…

  • +2

    ****Success****
After so many hit and trials - this worked for me:

I used Mango / GL-MT300N-V2 with my PIA VPN, hardwired my PS4 to this device.
1- manage to create a new turkish account
2- add Oldubil Card details - Address from https://www.fakexy.com/fake-address-generator-tr
3- ——————- lot of no success for a long time———-
4 - Used https://controld.com/ - created profile to direct traffic to Bursa - Istanbul failed. Configured DNS into PS4 network
5 - No success with Oldubil card, but here, i managed to add Revolut Card (Mult-use)
6 - Out of funds, so added some $s to Revolut
7 - Went to Ps4 PSN app - and subscribed with Revolut card - got charged $26.55

    Hope this helps

  • sorry a little confusing all this.. dont use crypto at all. Can anyone help with set up on PS4? Maybe some steps??
    Thank in advance

    • which part of the instructions asks you to use crypto?

  • +1

Anyone got this to work recently? I managed to add the proxy and I wanted to buy more but it kept encountering issues when topping up.

  • I've had similar issue with adding funds from Oldubil yesterday. Tried different Turkish proxies with no luck and DNS IPs on PS5 from ControlD. Always encountering an error so I assume that Sony has some limit of retries from the banking account.
After a couple of hours I've connected once again PS5 with DNS IPs setup and top up started working (200TL + 200TL + 20 + 10).

Unfortunately when I transferred money via Revolut (490TL) it charged me with a commision twice: 28TL by Revolut and 28 by Oldubil (approx 5hrs to complete the transaction)
So for Deluxe subscription I have to top-up 30TL more. Keep that in mind.
This time transfer is taking 24hrs but still not appeared on my Oldubil acc.
Hopefully tomorrow it will be done.

  • +5

Anyone doing this today will have to work out which bank to use themselves now that aktifbank has been removed from oldubil app.

Given that the average OzB'er has the reading comprehension skills a of a 4 yo orangutan with ADHD I'm not expecting too many to see this and take notice before sending their money off into the ether and then blaming ISP & OP.

TLDR; NO SEND MUNNIES TO AKTIFBANK OR MUNNY GO POOF BYEBYE THEN YOU CRY

    • +1

Damn… we all evolved from the apes and have to survive in this mad world.. I'll try to use my brain better, thanks for the heads up.

      • Lemme know if your omega bren works it out, I'd like to transfer more funds over to pick up Baldur's Gate & Spideyman 2 but don't trust myself not to b@lls it up.

    • Is there an alternative to Aktifbank yet? I've been looking through lots of threads but haven't come across alternative yet.

      • Not yet, we're waiting on the chosen one ie ISP to bless us with this knowledge once he works it out

        • +1

Tried Türkiye iş bankası just now - waiting for the results

          • +1

@ch1ps: So I failed with Revolut transfer cause put a wrong recipient's name… requested suport to modify it.
And did one more attempt with Wise. This time successful via VakıfBank.
Finally bought Deluxe subscription through ControlD

    • +2

Should have read this!!, ma muny gone and me sad

  • +1

    I'll probabaly try this tommorow

    • Cool let us know which bank you go with and how it goes, just bear in mind that if you do this over the weekend earliest your funds will clear will be after 4pm AEST on Monday

  • +4

Finally after 3 months of trying off and on i've managed to get loaded up on 4 years of PS Plus deluxe subs with the help of this thread.

The magic words in the opening instructions…'Adding funds is essential for subscribing. You can't buy the subscription straight via credit card' was the key as I was wrongly trying to purchase directly from my Playstation using various proxies.

In the end all done via my phone - using the VPN turkey app (used the pro link access after watching a couple of adds) and then logging into Playstation.com
You cant add funds via the PSN app so once I realised that it was easy. I went to add funds from my previously loaded Crypto ($100 AUD) and Revolut (TL 460 converted) cards.
Had to load them up in 200.00TL batches but kept going on both cards.
Bought 4 years of Deluxe and left a small amount on the wallet.

Extremely happy with this so many thanks to everyone involved with the advice and methodology… - OzBargain community working at its best!!

Only small downside is that I was hoping the games I had accumulated and saved on my old AU Plus account could be accessed under the new Turkish PS Plus account, but I gather these can only be shared if your accounts are in the same country?
Is this correct and if so does anyone have a workaround on how to access these games or are these completely locked off from a Turkish PS point of view?

Next objective will be to get a new portable drive from the Prime sale later this week to accommodate the next few years of games.

    • This failed for me, kept rejecting the top up, keeps saying something went wrong. Now I'm stuck with about 1300 TL in my oldubil card

Found the issue - I was subscribed, had to cancel the subscription and this worked. Thanks!

    • Which app is the VPN Turkey app? Can't find it. And did you use a proxy or vpn?

      • +2

I tried it through this app on Google Play on my Samsung S21
        Free VPN Turkey APP

        https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=vpn.turkey

Once downloaded then select from the dropdown list a pro version option. Don't pay for this - just select the option for free use by watching a couple of adds (30 or so secs).

Once connected you have 60mins to log into your account via Playstation.com and to add funds to your wallet. It can be slow so be patient.

I was more successful in mid afternoon rather than in the evening.

        Good luck

        • +1

Thanks mate, managed to stack 5yrs worth of ps+ membership; time to get a new ssd to accommodate the new games.

          • +2

@Giovinco: Just got Corsair MP600 with heat sink for PS5 . 1 Tb for 122 ish not bad hopefully

    • Hi Mate, were you able to add funds from Revolut Multi use card ?

      • Yes although I did set up a new multi use virtual card as wasn't sure if my previous failed attempts (using the wrong method of trying to purchase direct without topping up the wallet first) had somehow blacklisted the card number.

I deleted my old Revolut card and created a new one which was accepted straight away - and from there I was able to add my converted funds.

        • WHAAAATT okay let me try that

        • I am getting an error.
I am on pro Turkey VPN on my android phone as suggested
Revolut VISA card has 500+ Lira

  • Got to the point of adding oldubil card to the turkish psn account but thats it. Struggling hard trying to find a working proxy.

  • +1

I ended up buying a proxy from proxy-seller for about $3.50 for a week. It works but I haven't added funds yet. Will report back soon.

  • +6

This still works (as of today). Its just a matter of finding the correct Proxy / VPN.
Used VakıfBank when transferring to Oldubil via Revolut. Transfer was quick.

Tried various Proxy IPs from the links mentioned by OP and wasted ~2 hours. Most failed to connect to internet. Some that didnt fail, were unable to load the account screen, so I just gave up. Tried ControlD next, and this did not work either. It got me to the payment screen but kept throwing something went wrong error when I tried to add funds.

What worked for me was installing VPN app (Turkey) on android phone, created a hotspot and connected PS5 to the hotspot.
Added money to the account in 200TL chunks and stacked 3 years.

    • does this work on an active Turkish account or do u have to create a new account?

  • +2

Control D worked for me, pointing the DNS servers on the PS5 to Control D. Signed up for new PSN account on the computer, added the card through the browser (suggest using Revolut card since, I used Oldubill and Revolut card since I had already done the transfers by then). I was only able to top up once in the browser, every other time ended in error, but worked flawlessly on the PS5. Probably some conflict with the layers of ad blockers, VPNs, etc.

  • ControlD method works. Just tried.
I was having so many issues and finally configured the DNS onto my ps5 (used device WIN10 as suggested)
Added payment method : both Revolut Card + Oldubil card
    Restarted my mesh (Tenda Nova)
    Logged onto PS5
Add Fund - tried both and both worked i.e revolut card and oldubil card.
    I hope that helps.
Any one have any questions. Happy to answer

  • hello I have a problem trying to charge my oldubil card with revolut Could someone share with me how to fill in the data please, I just want to take advantage of the offers. I can't find photos of how the data is filled in this tutorial, revolut asks me for some information but the card number doesn't appear and I don't want to send money and lose it 😭

    • You can use Revolut Virtual card . Once the card has been added, goto your PS5 and change network DNS. After it is connected, add funds from the revolut card option shall work.

      • revolut doesn't work it is blocked long time ago

        • Really😪 but how people top op oldubil😰

      • THX, i'll tried that

        • I was able to use both yesterday on two accounts

  • Just got a yearly Deluxe subscription (Added funds on PS5 + ControlD DNS).
Used Wise and OrduBil, and transferred the funds in less than 1 hour.
Tried all the above - including setting up a local proxy, vpn (inc. vpn tethering), DNS spoofing with controlD, nothing seems to have worked
Key thing for those still struggling - leave it be for a day or so, and try again later using controlD
Sony must have a blacklisting mechanism for the previous tried/failed attempts.

  • I'm stuck at the same point
Used Wise and Ordubil - created a turkish PSN account
I can get to the Add funds page and when trying to add the funds get "an error was encountered"

Have tried a lot of proxies / controld dns spoofing / hola proxy and evben bought a private dedicated proxy based in turkey to no avail.

@Sve might be onto something that Sony may have blacklisted my PS5 or PSN account - I will leave it for a day or 2 and then try again

    • +1

Leave it for a day . Before you use controld next day , restart your router / modem / mesh .That kinda helped me. I was so frustrated with it before.

  • could someone please write a guide how to set controlD in like a router also steps what to do in controlD itself

    • +1

I am going to post a short in 5 minutes

    • +1

Just create a new profile, then in profile options, under 'Default Rule', select "Redirect all traffic" -> Select Custom location -> Turkey
Then go to devices and create a new Windows device linked to the above profile; it will give you 2 DNS IPs
Put them in PS5, Advanced network settings (Custom DNS)
      Profit

    • +3

How to Setup controlD , created this yt short for it. I hope that helps
      https://www.youtube.com/shorts/admJZvPR9GY

      • thank you very much

      • +1

        Thanks man, this helped alot!

        • Glad that helped :)

  • Still struggling at the add fund via proxy part…

    • +1

      Hey mate,
Restart your mesh/wifi/router and then try setting up DNS using controld

      • Thank you mate, tested and work for one year renewal.

I am sending another batch money over but now it took longer than expected. Do you know why?

        • Restart your mesh / router and then turn on your ps5 and DNS

  • Just checked out tonight using the Control D manual DNS setting, worked flawlessly! No stuffing around changing DNS on the PS5!

  • Maybe a stupid question, but does this work using a PS4 ?

    • +1

Does it let you add DNS in network setting in ps4 ? if yes , you may give it a go.

      • Yeah I think the logic is there that it would work.

Honestly the Control D method on a laptop is sooo easy.

  • Hi can anyone confirm if this is still working or has stopped because i have tried so many times but cant add funds. i have followed all the steps. Thanks
