PlayStation Plus Deluxe TL₺460 (~A$26.30) for 12 Months + Fees @ PSN Turkey (Proxy, OlduBil, Revolut Required)

1250

Thanks to ISP / I Smell Pennies and the current Turkish Lira crash, I could stack PS Plus and EA Access for the next couple of years.

Evidence:
https://imgur.com/a/YVDryBt

Requirements:
• Turkish PSN Account
• OlduBil Account
• Revolut Account (I guess any Bank should work)
• Turkish Proxies
• patience

SETUP

Part 1 Turkish PSN Account

This will not work on your current Australian PSN account. You will have to sign-up for a new Turkish PSN Account. To do that, visit the PSN homepage and create a new account with the region set to Turkey. Use a fake address. (I usually use a hotel in a Turkish city.)
Alternatively, sign up on your PS5 and set the region to Turkey.

Part 2 OrduBil and Revolut

Thanks again to ISP / I Smell Pennies

Visit ISP’s post from yesterday and follow Part 1-2b.

https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/784047

Part 3 Turkish Proxies

You can use free proxies from hidemy.name and ProxyNova.

PURCHASE of PSN or EA ACCESS subscription

Top up your OrduBil Account as explained in ISP’s post Part 2b.
Log in with your Turkish PSN Account to your PS5 and add the OrduBil card to your payment method.
Go to the network settings and edit your existing SSID by pressing the options button. Go to Proxy, select “Use”, and type in the provided IP addresses in Part 3. (patience IS KEY! Most provided IP addresses won't work. You will get a lot of “failed” messages.)

Once you succeed, you must go to the main settings menu and go to Users and Accounts -> Account -> Payment and Subscriptions -> Add funds.
(If the proxy connection fails, you won't get past “Account and have to try a different proxy IP address”)
Add funds TL 460 and go to the PSN Store to subscribe. Adding funds is essential for subscribing. You can't buy the subscription straight via credit card.

        • There is an option to top up Wise with a credit/debit card. Not sure if it needs ID.

  • Damn this is so good, but I'm too paranoid of getting banned fand losing all my platniums haha

    • +2

It will be a different account. Your main account won't be affected if something should happen.

  • I just top up Oldubil through Binance but I received TRY375 when transferred TRY400. Transfer was immediate.

    • 6.5% commision, I transferred 2135, received 2001.

    • It seems you'll need a Binance TR account in order to withdraw?

You cannot withdraw TRY directly to your bank account from your Binance account. You must first transfer your crypto assets to Binance TR (https://www.trbinance.com/) and then withdraw TRY from your Binance TR account to your bank account.

Anyone manage to get this set up and to work on a PS4?

    • +7

No need for PS4, done all using phone.

Never had PS Plus but trying for 2 weeks of trial and error, I was able to subscribe until June 2043 now.

I thought there was 15 years cap but guess not.

Used Crypto.com card (instant transfer), loaded plenty, so OlduBil will work too.

Using Windscribe VPN (premium), logged in to Chrome incognito tab on my S23U, added multiple 200 fund and sub to PS Plus using this fund.
I was able to fund of 200 x 7 times before it gives "An Error has occurred. Please try again".

I could not buy FFXIV using phone/browser before release so had to find working proxy on PS5 and preordered using Crypto card (this was when I didn't have enough fund so if you have fund it should be easy).

      • Can you just load the money instantly with the debit/credit card option on oldubil using crypto.com card?

        • Why would you do that? You can just use either card.
Funding Crypto card is instant, while OlduBil is slow but might have better chance of adding the card.

          • @lufee: Because bank transfers need to be approved by them and that will not be happening until 3rd of July due to a public holiday in Turkey.
And oldubil needs it to be funded in Turkish lira on top of that

            • @jayboi: That is problem with OlduBil, if you don't want to wait, might as well try Crypto.com method.
Don't think you can send money from Crypto card but you can load $AU instantly from your Aussie bank.
It will use Turkey currency when purchasing this deal.

              • @lufee: Unfortunately not, when i try to load using the debit/credit card option Aussie banks dont work hence most of us have to go the bank transfer route and transfer in Turkish lira.

          • @lufee: I'm unable to add my crypto card to PS,

is it because there are no funds in it?
            or
is it because of using Turkey address?

I was able to add oldubil card with no funds in it yet though..

            • +1

@WhyMe20: Crypto should have real Aussie address and I added when I didn't have fund.

Only Turkey address for PSN account.

              • @lufee: Yes, Sorry If I was not clear, I meant Turkey address while adding the card on PSN acc, I've tried it multiple times but no luck

      • Thanks for explaining steps….

Still getting the message 'something went wrong' when I try to pay for the PS Plus purchase.

Tried this with both Crypto and Revolut cards and keeping getting same message.

        Any ideas?

        • Check/change your proxy.

      • +1

This right here worked an absolute treat! After many hours the other night trying all the other methods, this one only took about 15min!

      • So, you only were able to load 1400 liras? Even less than Oldubil's limit?

        • No, you can add more, just need luck with VPN. Currently have around 4000 liras on my PSN.

If doesn't work try again tomorrow or use different vpn + incognito browser. I been successful with three turkey locations that Windscribe have.

Also, you can try adding card from PS5.

      • You loaded up $526 plus fees worth, aren't you worried about being banned like techhit and it all going to waste?

  • Amazing deal! I'm going to grab 6 years of deluxe when my current sub ends next week. It'll be $158 total - $3 more than an Aus 1 year sub.

  • Question: tried to transfer money to OlduBil from Revolut.hasn’t quite arrived and been more than 24 hrs? Is this normal??

    • Public Holiday in Turkiye, earliest your transfer will be processed will be after 9am (GMT+3) on 03/07

      • Thanks. I scrolled up and saw the post on this. Thank you for responding though.

        • 11.35am (Ankara) Any Update? Nothing on mine yet ..

  • +3

Use https://proxyway.com/tools/free-online-proxy-checker to check batches of proxies instead of testing one at a time.

  • +1

I just used my crypto.com card and it worked fine

    • +1

thanks for the advice, worked for me too.

    • Did you transfer to oldubil? Or did you use the crypto.com card to directly top up your oldubil account with credit/debit card option?
Or did you just use directly on PlayStation store?

  • Thinking about doing this and stacking 10 years, but oldubil has the ₺2750 TL monthly limit and I need to do the 3 year xbox deal too.

    • +1

Try crypto.com too. It still works

    • Do xbox deal first, the price is rising in 5 days.

added Turkish Lira to ps5 using DNS spoofing (https://controld.com 30 days free) enjoy 😊

    • +1

Confirmed this is the only working method for me so far, thanks for sharing!

      • could you walk me through how to use this @cocywong ?

        • +3

You can follow this guide & this guide to enable custom traffic redirect to Turkey, then connect your device (I used my computer to add fund & purchase PS+) to the DNS configs generated by Control D, do an IP check to confirm you're in the right country and you're good to go.

          • @cocywong: Did you use crypto.com to add funds as well?

          • +1

@cocywong: Thank you very much, I used both oldubil and crypto.com cards to deposit 3000 liras, then bought 10 year essential for 2400 and upgrade to deluxe for another 545. Now I am set and done for the next 10 years, hopefully Sony is still there when my subscription expires.

            • @couger: Nice, If you want to sub 3+ yrs this will be the best way to go forward I guess..

            • @couger: Did you do it through your PC aswell?

              • @ramona: Nope.. I used my PS5, either way you've to add funds ,.You would be saving more lira's if you are buying at least 4+ yrs of Essential & Upgrade to Deluxe

              • @ramona: I did it on my PC, once change the DNS server, just restart your pc, use the IP check above to make sure your IP is in Turkey.

            • @couger:

bought 10 year essential for 2400 and upgrade to deluxe for another 545

Damn, didn't know this exists. Not available if I already have active deluxe sub?

              • @Azro: Same, not sure if I can do the same if already have an active deluxe sub. Can't seem to find anything online :/

I am thinking may as well add 10 years worth of essential + the upgrade funds first. Then, wait for the current active plan to expire before adding 10 years of essential and upgrade.

            • @couger: Whenever i add my crypto.com card details it comes up with "There have been too many failed connection attempts. Give it some time and try connecting later". Its been well over 12 hours since I last tried but this message keeps popping up. Any suggestions?

              • @ramona: Hey @ramona
Did you get past that message? I'm now stuck with the same message 😔

                • @mintlin: @mintlin heyo I did. So me and another ozbargainer realised that my account was probably flagged, so I created a new Turkey PSN account and it was successful. Just remember once you're able to link your card, you have to add funds to it via PS5 settings, and then you can use the funds to purchase PS Plus :)

                  • @ramona: Awesome glad to hear that! Thanks @ramona! I'll create a new account and try again.

                    • +1

@mintlin: Let me know if it works or not!

                      • +1

@ramona: @ramona worked perfectly first time with controld on my PC after a new account created on PS5!
Like you said, my previous account may have been flagged. (I retired too many times in a short amount of time with vpn)

                        Thanks heaps!

                        • @mintlin: Happy you were able to get it working!!

    • what starting profile to use?

    • +1

      Ok this worked perfectly!!!

Followed the guide to transfer funds from Revolut to my OlduBil Card, noted that the banking details had changed.
I did the transfer on Saturday and it cleared today (Monday) in the afternoon.

Signed up for 30 days free with (https://controld.com 30 days free)
Using my Macbook I created new profiles following this video https://www.youtube.com/shorts/admJZvPR9GY
Manually changed my DNS settings with the IPV4 addresses provided in Control D
Opened https://whatismyipaddress.com/ to confirm I was in Turkyie
Open playstation.com go to account, top up account, (I had pre-added my OlduBil Card in Playstation account before this)
Added 400 + 400 + 60 Lira, it failed adding the second amount, retried and it worked
      Renew subscription option
Checked out 1 year Deluxe 460 Lira!

Thank you so much OP, mine had just expired. Now I am going to add more funds and stack a couple of more years this week!

      Cheers!!!

  • +1

Finally was able to add crypto card/add funds /sub 2 yrs deluxe .. It ALL works if the PROXY is good.. Thanks OP !!

    Happy Hunting :-)

    • What card did you use for crypto.com?

      • I chose the Basic Blue card & Topped Up using my NAB debit & Enabled International Usage

        • How did you add the proxy to your PS5? I'm a dummy at this stuff so I'm so confused T_T

          • @ramona: Just followed OP's PART 3 instructions .. ('Go to the network settings and edit your existing SSID by pressing the options button. Go to Proxy, select “Use”, and type in the provided IP addresses in Part 3. (patience IS KEY! Most provided IP addresses won't work. You will get a lot of “failed” messages.)')

            • @WhyMe20: Whenever I get a working proxy i put in my crypto.com card details and it comes with "Please check your credit/debit card information and try again". Not too sure what to do now.

              • @ramona: been through the exact situation .. keep trying ..patience IS KEY! ..

                • @WhyMe20: But the proxy is working I swear. Checked the connection and it says it's successful in Network settings

                  • @ramona: Did you check this post??

                    • @WhyMe20: Yes. I will just have to try again later this week. Thank you anyways Drow

  • So if you spend time claiming the monthly games, at the end of the 10 years when you go back to your AU account (or sooner if Sony bans or blocks Turkey accounts somehow before then), you won't have access to any of the monthly games anymore? Playstation may not even exist 10 years from now so I guess it doesn't really matter…

    • So if you spend time claiming the monthly games, at the end of the 10 years when you go back to your AU account, you won't have access to any of the monthly games anymore?

Correct. Doesn't matter when you actually play games. Might be a problem if you are a game collector of some sort or like to replay old titles.

      • Hmmm. But the savings are huge so I guess it doesn't matter? And 10 years from now there will probably be a hack that lets you play all the games anyway even delisted ones.

  • +1

    Yo Thanks Yule!!!

Gonna start stacking these like sandwiches 🥪

    • Got the 2TB 980 with heat sink. Have you seen the prime deal?

  • how does it work if you already have some years of Essential stacked? Does it upgrade to Deluxe, or does it wait till all your Essential is finished and then begin Deluxe?

    • you can upgrade, the maxium upgrade fee charged for Deluxe is TRY545 now.

  • Hello all. How does stacking work? Sorry I tried searching for the keyword but haven’t been able to figure it out.

    • +1

You just keep buying the same product again and again and every time it stacks with the existing subscription. Or what exactly is your question?

      • I will try that on the PS5? I haven't trued it on yet.
I just looked at the PS App on the phone where it allows me to Subscribe to a plan.
My prev Türkiye PS Plus just expired.
        Cheers

        • Seems we cannot use Wise directly anymore? I think that may be where I got stuck.

  • Can anyone share their experience on the time it takes for funds to get credited in OlduBil? I initiated a transfer from my Revolut account last Friday, and my funds are yet to be credited. I understand there was a public holiday, but I was hoping it would have been sorted by today. So, I'm just curious about the general timeline for such transactions.

    • Yeah same happened with me 😞

    • I'm not sure what logic OlduBil uses FIFO or LIFO .. I'm still waiting on the funds I transferred last Tue(27th) :-(

      • Did you contact them?

        • Not yet, just giving it some time for them to clear their backlog .. maybe tomorrow if still not credited ..

          • @WhyMe20: Just got the dough.. PROXY hunting begins..(no notifications, need to check app)

      • Also transferred funds last Tuesday. Just got my funds successfully transferred after 9pm tonight.

        • Good, Did you get any notification on phone/email once credited or did you open the app to check ??

  • Damn I'd pay someone to help me set up 5 years of PSN. I'll give you my Turkey PSN account and send money to your crypto.com if it helps xD

  • +1

Finally managed to get it to work.
    Things to note:
    Essential is TL₺240 a year.
There's a cap of TL₺545 to upgrade to Deluxe regardless of how many years you're upgrading.
With the ~AU$160 (Oldubil monthly limit) I managed to sub for 8 years of Deluxe, works out to about $20 a year, and I still have TL₺60 left over to sort out Spotify.
Couldn't find a working proxy so ended up using Fred's method, even then maybe I'm doing something dumb but it wouldn't work on my Macbook, and only worked on my phone after a few tries. It's not as easy to use and set up as a VPN but it's the only thing that worked for me.
Overall cost me probably 3 hours all up plus the $160 but I guess the 8 years kinda make up for it.

  • Just got my account permanently banned for topping up via vpn and playing without a proxy after loading it with 7 years of PlayStation Plus Deluxe 😥😭

    • Oh no! I’m still waiting for OlduBil atm, you make me feel nervous.

    • Wow that's crazy! How did you find out? Through logging in normally or notified via email?

      • Notified while trying to log in. :(
        No email, no warning.

        • So we shouldn't bother doing this deal?! Was your regular AU account affected, or only the new Turkey account you created for this deal?

          • @AustriaBargain: No, my main account wasn't affected (luckily). it was only my Turkey account which was banned.

            • @Techhit: Maybe I shouldn't do this deal then. I hope Microsoft don't mess with my xbox account, that's my main Microsoft account :(

        • Can you use Turkey account (with PS+) to download games, then log out and log into your Australian account on the same console to play the games?

          • @ttkc: Yes.

            • @Techhit: There are stories on the Internet how to unblock your Turkey account. You need to call Turkey Sony support, explain that you were blocked for no reason. They ask your info, card details, last purchases' details, might ask you to send them your ID and then they will unblock you.

              • @Azro: Thanks, but I don't think I have a case. I can't really play dumb, and they have all the logs to prove the violation of their terms of service.

                • +1

@Techhit: You indeed play dumb and say you violated nothing. You made an account, bought some Plus and/or games and got blocked for nothing, please check it for me.
All stories I read said it's automatic block from a system. They don't check what you do with your account but they need to check that this account belongs to you and after that they unblock it. You have nothing to lose.
