Kute 52″ White “Smoke” 3 Blade DC Ceiling Fan $209 (Was $369) Delivered @ 360 Fans

130

Came across this deal when looking for new fans for the house. Looks to be a good quality fan where the colour wasn't what 360 fans were looking for from the factory. Bit of a bargain for the overall quality if you're in the market and don't mind the colour.

  • 52" is very very big . What size room it suit ?

    • Apparently it suits medium sized rooms 4x4m and larger.

How much does it cost to install each of these?
I feel these are essential as all my floor fans are taking up space in storage in winter and on the floor in summer.

Generally if you are getting a few done it should be no more than $200 a fan but it depends on your electrical situation and where your circuit board is relative to the house. Your local electrician will need to do it and best to get a few quotes in the area. I'm doing a full rewire for occupancy so it's bundled into that for me.

It says it comes with a remote so it's simpler than having to run wiring to a fan switch (but personally I'd prefer hardwired controls). It might be a very simple install. If I owned my place I'd put ceiling fans in everywhere. Much tidier than crappy standing fans or box fans that die after a year or 2 and ceiling fans are also useful in winter to pull the warm air down from the ceiling. It's a "buy once, cry once" type thing. DC fans also use a lot less power (and therefore generate less heat) than cheapo induction motor fans but it would take a very long time for the operating cost to really factor in, but a gentle breeze can go a long way so you might need to use your AC less.

  • OOoft, good to know, thanks mate. So not a cheap job.

  • Anyone out there recommend a comparable quality ceiling fan/light combo - options here are about $250 on sale but was hoping to get a couple of decent ones for $150-200 each (with remote control as well).

    • Choice has done a review on fans, I will try and screenshot and send through to you 👍
