There is a pre-sale on Brainwavz HM5 headphones at MP4Nation. Remembering comments on other headphone posts from fellow ozbargainers, there are lots of HM5 lovers out there.

The HM5:

•are high-detail monitor headphones.
•come with free delivery
•come with free Brainwavz Zirconia Headphone Stand (MP4Nation doesn't even advertise this part, weird)
•come with 1/4" adapter, extra set of earpads and an airplane adapter

This is the cheapest I have seen them so far.

The normal price on MP4Nation: US$139.50 (HM5) + US$17.50 (Zirconia Headphone Stand - although it's on sale at the moment too, normal price is $26.50[ouch!] http://www.mp4nation.net/brainwavz-zirconia-headphone-stand-… )

Reviews from the citizens of head-fi.org are really positive, the most comprehensive one:

      Seems like out of online stock on Jaycar but they are only USD50 from Jaycar's US site. Head-fi has a number of comments testifying that these appear/sound the same as the HM-5's

      Hmmmm, I did a quick research and found out that the ones at Jaycar are a no-brand-OEM copy of these headphones. They apparently sound very similar (from comparison reviews). So, if you:
      * Don't care that they are no-brand
      * Don't care about the headphone stand
      * Don't care that it doesn't come with the extra shorter cable
      * Have a jaycar store near you that has stock of these (Jaycar online store is out of stock)
      then go for it and save $11.

    I've got the Jaycar version of these, and they're awesome for the money. I'm almost tempted to get these as a second pair (I use my jaycars at work - want another pair for home).

    Stuff from mp4nation normally arrives for me about 10 days after ordering.
