  • Can it be used for under floor insulation or you have different product?

R1.3 is a low thermal resistance, usually ceiling insulation is in the range of R2 to R4. A higher "R value" means that it insulates better.

When comparing fibreglass batts, a higher R value corresponds to more thickness.

Just did my roof yesterday so I did some researches.

This blanket is used under the roof, i.e. between your roof and truss, not above your ceiling.
R1.3 is standard value for this kind of 50-55mm blanket + foil, which is pretty low if you only rely on this insulation.
Basically you can't DIY to retro-install this insulation unless you are ripping the entire old colourbond off and install new roof.

For above ceiling insulations, they are much thicker batts (145-295mm), which you just lay those above your ceiling for up to R6.0 as you need.
