I own a few shortwave radios, Tecsun PL-310 and PL-330 and a ATS-20. The community is still going strong i met a few people who own shortwave station in Australia.

Might be better to spend a bit extra and get the Tecsun R909, the D108 and D109 are also on sale.
Not sure how good the tuning is with the analogue dial and DSP.

The digital stations and streams are on delay so no good for live sport.
Still a few applications such as power outages in the country.
