$5 Bonus Cashback on $30 Spend in One Transaction @ Cashrewards (Activation, Excludes Gift Cards, All Amazon Categories Valid)

9450

Hi everyone. This bonus is in celebration of Cashrewards reaching 2 Million Members. I would personally like to thank you all for your support over the years - we obviously could not have got to where we are without you. Promo runs for two days, ending 11:59pm AEST Friday (14/07/23). Please stay safe, and enjoy :) 🎉🥳

If you intend buying something from Amazon, please ensure you check your item's category by using my tips to help determine whether or not it's eligible for cashback. Anything at 0% cashback will void the bonus.

Edit 11am AEST: all Amazon categories are now eligible apart from the regular exclusions. See my comment in the post :)

Read the terms below carefully - it will save a lot of questions. Ensure you activate the bonus prior to shopping. Once activated, shop as normal via the 'Shop Now' (Store) or 'Activate Now' (Notifier) buttons on Cashrewards. Note specific store exclusions such as Amazon 0% categories, AliExpress non-affliliate products etc, and read all terms for the store your wish to purchase from.

Full list of Cashrewards stores & categories here.

$5 Bonus Promo Terms:

  1. To be eligible for the AUD $5 bonus, you must first activate the promotion via the main link in this post, then shop as normal via any active online store* on Cashrewards, excluding any purchase from the Cashrewards Gift Card Page.
  2. After activation, transaction must be made between 10:00am 13/07/23 and 11:59pm AEST 14/07/23.
  3. Bonus is eligible on qualifying purchases of AUD $30 or more in a single transaction (inclusive of GST, after any discounts, and before shipping). Sales may report to Cashrewards ex-GST so the amount shown in your account may be less than $30 - you will still be eligible for the bonus.
  4. Bonus will be added automatically to your Cashrewards account as ‘pending’ upon activation of this offer. Under some conditions, there may be a delay of up to 60 minutes for the bonus to show in your account (a tracking email is not sent for the bonus). Bonus will be approved within 7 days of any associated qualifying purchase being approved, as per the terms of the store.
  5. Bonus is over and above the advertised store cashback rates which still apply to the transaction.
  6. Transaction is valid if made online via desktop browser, Cashrewards mobile app, Cashrewards Notifier, or mobile browser.
  7. Bonus is ineligible on any purchase from the Cashrewards Gift Card Page, and ineligible on any in-store purchases.
  8. Selected stores may report orders with multiple items as individual transactions into your Cashrewards account - these are still eligible.
  9. Bonus is limited to one per qualifying Cashrewards account. Additional transactions do not qualify for additional bonuses.
  10. Bonus is ineligible if you purchase from a 0% cashback store/cashback rate, if you purchase an ineligible item, or if an order is cancelled, changed, returned, rejected. *Check individual store cashback terms and exclusions prior to purchase (see Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, BIG W etc).
  11. If buying from Amazon, you must purchase from a category with a cashback value higher than 0%. See the cashback table of rates on the Amazon merchant page on Cashrewards for more information.
  12. Fraudulent activity will result in rewards being forfeited and accounts closed.

Do not activate the bonus unless you intend using it - it will decline after 14 days unless a qualifying purchase is made. For tracking success, disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from Cashrewards as tracking will be lost. Cashrewards must be your last click before purchase. Use our iOS/Android mobile app for improved tracking results. Use our Help Centre & Contact form here for any questions or issues.

Adding cashback to Amazon categories is going above and beyond, good stuff.

  • Anyone else having issues with the app not tracking? Amazon and BWS from yesterday show clicked but still havent tracked.

  • @tightarse

If I make an order on aliexpress with the codes on this deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/787725) will they stack with this $5 bonus?

  • +1

What if you place an order then cancel it to place a second order. Does the second order get the bonus or do you just lose it altogether?

  • +2

I spent $520 on plane tickets to get $5 back

    • So you only spent $515 :D

      • +1

        Yesssssss

It did track though so can't complain.

Thanks TA, electrolytes on sale at chemist warehouse! 👍

    https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/99449/hydralyte-elec…

    • This is good, but what else to buy to make the $30 min spend ? :)

      • Also add peach or watermelon for $11

  • What happens if you meet the threshold but Amazon splits the invoices? I made >$50 in one order yesterday all from Amazon AU and they sent me 2 invoices of less than $50 each. And last time something happened like this it was 'too late' to claim the bonus.

    • I've never had invoices split. What do you mean by that on Amazon? Some items get sent from different warehouses across the country (or from Amazon overseas) is what I gather you are saying? That won't impact cashback. As long as you checkout with $30 on more and use an eligible payment method, that is all you need to do.

The threshold is $30 by the way not $50.

      • Prime Day deal was >$50 spend. I made one single order transaction July 11 but if you click on 'invoices' under the 'Orders" tab there are 2 invoices. I've never had that happen before either!

All items were sold by Amazon AU and not a third party seller.

        • +1

Oh I understand. Disregard invoices. I have thousands of $ of cashback withdrawn between Cashrewards and Shopback, and very few rejections in that time (2022 4 from Shopback and 3 from Cashrewards). Probably 80% of my cashback is attributed from Amazon.

As long as you did the right thing and the clicks are registered, it should be fine.

You were in all likelihood rejected for a different reason than this invoice thing you mention. If it was a rampant thing I would have had a larger proportion of rejections.

All items were sold by Amazon AU and not a third party seller.

You are still eligible for cashback even if not shipped and sold by Amazon AU. As long as the purchase was made on Amazon AU, you will be eligible for cashback.

    • @Juice08

Hi. Please see dot point (8) in the terms of the OP. You’ll be fine. Any issues down the track, just let me know :)

  • +1

@TA - congrats to the CR team on the achievement. Now lets celebrate with free pizza or some free food ;)

  • TA does it again - you’re a legend :)

  • Brilliant!
    Thanks TA

  • uber eats order didn't track, would not have ordered from uber without this deal, but i guess i miss out now.

    • +1

Uber Eats is like Amazon. It does not report right away. Takes 2-3 days. Thanks :)

      • Hi Rep, can you pls confirm that still this bonus cashback eligible for scheduled uber order with future date?

      • It tracked! If it tracked as $29.19 USD will I still be eligible for this offer?

        • Told you lol :)

$29.19 USD is a heap more than $30 AUD so you’ll be fine. Any issues at all, just let me know. Have a great weekend.

  • I activated, ordered the wrong thing then cancelled it. Can I reorder and expect cash back?

  • Found my answer, congrats CR and TA, running rings around SB these past few months.

  • Does the cashback work if you add a coupon available for a product on AmazonAU (i.e. not manually inputted)?

    • +1

Hi. I can't categorically say yes as Amazon has not given us clear direction, but some have commented in previous posts that it may work.

But please be wary of this on our Amazon merchant page:

      https://www.cashrewards.com.au/store/amazon-australia

Cashback is ineligible on the following:

      1. Purchase of products in any cashback category with a cashback rate of 0%. Check the cashback categories table prior to purchase.
      2. Purchase of gift cards, vouchers, Kindle Unlimited, Audible, mobile apps, Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals.
      3. Second and subsequent Subscribe & Save orders (only first Subscribe & Save orders in eligible categories are eligible).
      4. Purchases paid with any Amazon credit as partial or full payment.
      5. Use of any promotional codes entered manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field.
      6. Items added to cart prior to clicking from Cashrewards.
      7. Items purchased from your Amazon wish list or 'saved for later' list.
      8. Items that are cancelled, returned, exchanged or refunded.
      9. GST, other taxes and delivery fees.
      10. Fraudulent transactions.
      • Thanks! It's a little vague, as the T&Cs say that it "may not" work but it's not explicitly ineligible =|

        • This was the same question I had before I deleted, I figured after going to checkout and u click on the 10% discount, it actually shows a code hence I believe that would count as a manual code. So I unticked it when you go to payment area, upto you if u wish to try

  • Can my wife and I use this promo on the same Amazon account?
    @tightarse

    TIA :)

    • Hi. Of course, this is fine :)

      • You're way too quick! Thanks so much

        • Logging off now. Have a great weekend :)

  • what happen to partnership with anz,max ?

  • Bought some Cider from Liquorland listed on special for $40 with 10% off code SITEWIDE, so paid $36 with 1% CR and $5 bonus = Net price $30.7, Not bad for 24 Cider bottle..
First Choice Liquor had increased CR @ 25% but no store near me.

  • Congrats and thanks TA!
Purchased from Chemist Warehouse and tracked within 20 minutes

    • +1

I don't understand why CWH take forever to approve when they have a strict no refund policy on most items.

  • Bought this, hope it tracks.

  • what's with the long delivery times? is the the norm now for Prime

    • +2

hmmm.. if only some event could explain some sort of influx of orders…. hmmm…. no idea

      • +1

can you give a Prime example of one of those events?

      • smartass, i dont recall these long delivery times in previous prime days

        • A bunch of mine were quoted at 20th July but came on the 15th.

          • +1

@theguyrules: i ordered, it was promised as the 13th, it changed to the 20th at 8pm on the 13th, went to chat, got $5 for 2 of my orders so $10 total.

I then went to chat again to ask if they can cancel, they said 'sure', and cancelled both orders, refunded straight away and the items still came on the 17th.

Then amazon emails me and gives me $10 credit for missing their prime day promise.

These mfs paid me $20 and I still got my stuff

            • +1

@abjsdhasehasee: lmao yeah amazon are weird like that sometimes.

              • @theguyrules: they make too much money to care, if you are a amazon prime user, they treat you like a literal king lmao…. 'oh.. the box was slightly damaged? heres a full refund'
