Feeling like an old fella here - no external USB-A or HDMI = WTF?
Currently running a WFH setup with USB-C dock, but can't imagine anything less…

      dongles you can thank apple

    • Look at the side-on pictures. It's so thin it barely fits a USB-C port on it, how do you expect there to be a HDMI or USB-A on it?

This is not an old fella laptop.

If you need all that crap, carry a small USB adapter. I've not used anything other than a USB C (thunderbolt) port on my laptop for years.

You're more of a Latitude man.

Feel for you too old fella, cant imagine having to carry multiple dongles with me just to use a usb mouse/hdd

It has 2 x Thunderbolt 4 and 1x USB-c for external display devices which is now the norm and the future.

But yeh, I prefer a direct HDMI port so I can go HDMI -> External monitor instead of USB-C -> HDMI -> External monitor

    Great deal

    • i5 is probably a better choice, and it's cheaper

What does "SSD integrated" mean? Not upgradeable?

Thinking of replacing my older Latitude travel laptop with one of these, but I need 2+ TB of storage.

    • Yeah means soldered.
Most of these small Ultrabooks are though, I know you can upgrade the surface laptops 4+ but it isn't easy. Involves like getting a weird thing to remove the legs so you can get in.

  • Ram and ssd are NOT upgradeable

  • OOS, any similar deals to this? Looking at upgrading my old xps 9360 around this price. Good screen is a must.

EDIT: Was looking at this but it's only got 2 performance cores and 8 efficiency cores.

  • That's a good deal for a premium model. But sucks the ssd is not upgradable.
