Do you have to pay all of the amount on Westpac to get the full 15% cashback? Or like Amazon can you pay alot through gift cards and some with Westpac to get 15% cashback still on the full purchase price?
Only ask as I recall Woolworths selling Myers gift cards with +10% value loading this week. Or is it only Amazon and eBay that give full cashback on the purchase price when partly paid by gift cards?
Gift cards invalidate cashback for Myer.
If you don't mind purchasing/using a generic battery, they're much cheaper than Dyson's replacement battery costs
Are they a similar quality though? I guess with the Dyson stamped one you know they work, happy to go cheaper if the quality is comparable for battery life and safety.
@SaberX: I have a generic one and if anything, it lasts longer because it is 3x the battery capacity than the dyson one. In terms of safety, I guess it hasn't caught on fire so it's fine?

I can't work out with the Dyson though just how much the battery capacity is. The cells is written but the model numbers etc don't come up. Have a click in battery for a v11 animal. I presume any click in battery works for a base model e.g. v11, and the animal or outsized etc options don't change the actual physical battery compatibility
@SaberX: Nope doesn't say what brand. I bought mine off ebay but same same but stiff with Amazon.
From memory I did some digging and the dyson battery capacity is approx 2000mAh. My replacement was approx 6000mAh. I can't exactly say it lasts "triple" the time since it's hard to calculate, but lasting longer than previously was enough especially at quarter of the price (mines a v7 and replacement dyson battery is $129 vs my $30 generic ebay one)
@SaberX: I bought non-Dyson battery for less than $40 to replace the original battery on my V7. It's working fine and as the other guy said it lasts a bit longer due to bigger size (9Ah)

@foxes28: Alright I'll go hunting. Everything on Amazon for a v11 is still well over $130 and some even more expensive than the $199 the original is retailing for. I'm happy to try one of I can find a $60-90 generic with a larger battery capacity.
AFAIK using gift cards invalidate cashback at all stores except Amazon, ebay, and Uber (Eats).

Per account, per card but happy to be proved wrong. Nowadays you can only link Westpac card to one Shopback account. In the past, I was able to link our Westpac credit card to both of mine and my partner's shopback account but not anymore. I found out late May or early June.

Does anyone know how strict the cutoffs are for these upsizes. I got into the website late but before the 2pm AEST cutoff for the 15% upsizes. Got everything into my cart but the bloody credit card needed an SMS OTP to purchase. So by time I popped that in my phone was already ready 2pm. So I presume I got in seconds after.
Obviously added it into my cart before hand if it counts. It's an item I wanted but don't necessarily need if there isn't the additional cashback. Bloody spewing woulda got in earlier but has a rough night with the little one

Just got a shopback email advising the cashback of 16.70 and bonus $15 Westpac tracked. So looks like the final amount they've applied. Not sure if the 16.70 can be reviewed for the 15% will have to see… Was a cracking deal otherwise.

Shopback email for me has tracked and advised of the $15… But an 8.4% cashback for me (16.70 on a $199 item) sadly. Don't think the apps advised about the $15 her though.

Ah that’s very annoying. Happened to me too lol so I cancelled the whole order. From past experience they will still honour the $15 on your subsequent transaction but YMMV
