Pros - 1 year warranty, UDB-C PD (not listed but IIRC standard feature)
Cons - 8Gb RAM, bit pricey

Sorry it has 16GB fixed the discription

      • +5

That's a C grade refurb that should go in the bin.

        • +2

          Fair call.

      • How much would it cost roughly to upgrade to 16gb?

    • Title says 16gb RAM…

    • +1

Sorry it has UDB-C added to the discription

        What's UDB-C?

        • +3

          Probably a typo of USB-C.

  • I wonder if this dude will buy one of these?

    7th time lucky perhaps.

    • +1

This isn't bneacttrader, prolly not lol

  • I have one of these and use it for general use and light photo editing on sidelines at the footy
No complaints but I expect mine had a mid life battery replacement and was in perfect condition

    YMMV

  • Guessing not full hd 1080p display as not listed anywhere.

    • They are 1080p

    • Generally 1080p IPS panels in these, but don't expect to do any photo/video editing on them. Around 45% NTSC coverage.

  • Any info on battery life?

    • If in good condition 5+ hours, more at low screen brightness
      Batteries are easy to replace

  • How would this go playing old school Runescape?

  • Just checked the website. The price for more than 15 year laptops start from $200. Seen better places.

*with $20 eBay plus voucher, otherwise $379 delivered

  • I wonder where do they get these soon-to-be ewastes? I mean auctions, recycling from companies & Govt offices, imported?

    • +3

Worst case: Bulk lots at auction.
Best case: They get paid to collect and dispose of ewaste.

    • The business I work for offloads all their office PC's every 3 years or so. They get collected for free and we actually get a small kick back per unit. I'm sure this is what happens all around the place.

    Not a great price.

Did you recently sell this item for $820? If not, it is in breach of consumer protection laws to list it this way on your site.

    • thank you for pointing that out

  • +3

The 7490(better model) and 7400(newer and better model) have been cheaper. This is an advertisement and not a good deal.

  • I can see anything about the battery life or the quality of the referb/existing damage in the listing?

  • dodgy BS prices on site, usually $820 lol
