Even if you got the free 75 day trial Crunchyroll Premium offer with Xbox Ultimate, you can not pass on this. It's so cheap!!!

What you need before we start the steps:
A VPN that allows to "migrate" to Lebanon.
Any VPN that can transfer you to Lebanon would do.
HMA VPN works

Free 7 day trial. Cancel after you use. So you don't get charged.
Edit: This is just a recommendation. HMA withholds A$1 for free trial. You get refunded after you cancel. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Use any VPN that lands you to Lebanon at your own discretion.

If you decide to go the HMA VPN route, I would recommend to do it through Android or iOS app. Check this comments here, here, here & here

Steps/Instructions (Please follow them)

1.You open your browser in incognito mode .

2.With the VPN OFF you connect to your account or create a new account.

3.Then Activate a VPN and select the country LEBANON and visit the plan page that should show you the prices in LBP (Lebanese Pound)

4.Once you are clear which PLAN you need (Obviously the annual one), click on "skip the free trial" of the selected plan.

5.Sign in with an existing account or create a new one

6.At the time of paying you can remove the VPN (Important so that your data does not go through VPN), you will never need a VPN again… not even to see the content.

How to cancel Subscription (to avoid renewal)

1.Head over to the Crunchyroll site and log in to your account.
2.Click on the dropdown menu next to your username in the top right corner of the screen.
3.Select “Settings” from the dropdown menu.
4.Scroll down, select the ‘Membership’ section and click, ‘Cancel Membership’.
5.You will be redirected to a page with information about your membership.
6. Click ‘Cancel Membership’ again.
7.Follow the prompts to confirm the cancellation.

Alternatively, you can cancel your subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store if you signed up for a Crunchyroll subscription through their respective platforms.

    Had a series of failures, with some cards not authorise at all, whilst others had a $1.4# charge appear and then drop. If you have the 1.4# charge appear you likely made the same mistake as me…

    Key fix for the delayed fails - on the final payment screen when entering your CC details, in the country field: leave it as Lebanon. I also entered the 1107 suggested postcode.

    I had misunderstood this field to require the country and postcode for my credit card. It would initially succeed and showed Premium member status for a few minutes, but the subscription failed and the acct reverted to free.

    One go leaving the country as Lebanon and the acct progressed to successful after submitting payment, Order History shows successful within a few minutes and Acct has remained premium beyond the previous reversion that occurred within a few mins (and showed as the failure in Order History).

    The only 2 buttons are cancel membership and stay premium. It doesn't specify that membership stays valid.

          Yes, I had a current sub expiring Oct 2023 and when I cancelled I still have access till that date. I wasn’t able to sign up to premium via Lebanon on that acc (as it doesn’t expire until Oct even though I cancelled) so I just made a new account

    had no issues signing up but noticed my CR account has changed back to a Free membership and I have no charge for $1.30 on my banking app.

    Weird.

    Also I signed up to VPN via Apple App Store as activation was instant as on desktop it was taking forever for it to link a HMA account to my email.

    Does anyone know how long it takes for the HMA via the website to actually link? as I want to cancel it.

            @I Smell Pennies: Seems lots of ppl got problem with HMA free trial, signed up around mid-night, only got two same emails confirming the order, then no activation code.

            At the end, using iOS to get HMA and signed up CR, using Revolut standard card, single use card didn't work. Also, need to set country to Lebanon, and zip code to 1107 as stated above, otherwise your payment would be reversed and subscription cancelled.

            First few tries got CR account not longer receive payments, created a new CR acct, then tried it again, first got $0.02 deducted, then full amount $1.31 deducted later with $0.02 reversed.

            I am going to raise a ticket to HMA, only to make sure it's not going to charge me $120 without even setting me up.

          I opened a case file on Paypal to reverse the charge. I turned the subscription off but it still shows available till July 2024 so let's see.

          It still hasn't appeared on my card though, so hopefully Paypal stops it before it gets charged.

            @sh4hp: I opened a case and PayPal refunded me immediately so I went ahead and did the offer. I had already cancelled the renewal through crunchyroll.

            I can see the return on my bank account which is good.

    Successfully created a subscription after multiple failed attempts. A couple helpful notes for those still trying

    • Please choose Lebanon as the country at payment page. Use 1107 as suggested in OP for post code. I was able to use Up and ING but I put Australia as the country which led to the reversal of the subscription.
    • Ended up getting the successful subscription with the Revolut standard card.

      I believe mine was just reversed too.. Put Australia during checkout as it refuses to work otherwise. Now upon checking, sub is showing as failed. Sigh.. How long does it take to get a Revolut card? And does payment success with Lebanon country chosen?

        Delete your account and start over with your cards, mate. It ended up working for me like that. Be sure to put Lebanon as country at checkout. If you put Australia, it is going to be reversed.

    For those using Paypal, and have used it before for crunchyroll, be careful.

    I believe the system deducts the previously charged fees instead of the LBP75000.

        Yup, same here. I literally checked like 10 times in case I got a step wrong, but nope, everything points to 75000.

        It might be because Paypal has the address default as Australia/US, hence the charge.

        From reading other comments, Paypal users skip the country selection bit, which is the most important part.

          I preferred the novel to the 2nd season anime for shield hero. It felt all over the place, and pacing was pretty fast.

          Well I am still waiting for the new black clover season to start, whenever that will be. That's binge worthy for me.

          Dan Machi is good too, but I am not sure why the latest season isn't on Crunchyroll.

          The new vending machine one is funny.

        Plus it is also their user base, i.e. if 100K vs 1M people subscribe, then they'll probably fork out more if the latter.

      I really enjoyed Mashlee and Spy X Family.
      Also thought Rising of Shield Hero, Reincarnated as a Slime and Demon Slayer were pretty good as well although I'm still early in Demon Slayer.

    Here is what I did to get it work straight away.
    For HMA VPN, sign up on either Android or IOS free trial and you get the account instantly.
    Then sign in to that account on your PC/Mac, download HMA and connect to Lebanon.

    For the card, I used the Oldubil card and it went through straight away total yearly charge of 24.05 TL ($1.31 AUD).
    After this, I just cancelled the free trial through subscriptions on Google Pay or IOS Subscription Settings.

    Hope this helps someone.

      Just leave VPN on at the payment page then terminate the Revolut virtual card after payment if you worry about your card details going through the VPN.

    This worked for me, I used the HMA VPN Service as linked by OP (note if you download the Windows client version of the VPN you must activate it with the free-trial license from your account page before you can turn it on) and used Mastercard at checkout on a new Crunchyroll account with the VPN off but using Lebanon as country and postal address as per instructions.

    I will update if Crunchyroll cancel my account, but it looks all good on day one.

    Another point to note is that Crunchyroll has recently acquired Funimation and a new streaming service combining the two is expected to launch soon. Now I do not know if that means this subscription will be moved over to the new streaming platform or if they will do a similar thing with Funimation and keep the service accessible but no longer provide new content. For $1.31 AUD though who really cares, this deal is worth it just for a month of use time.
