Update: As a part of the new Accor Plus feature, I have also been credited with 20 status nights towards my gold. If you are starting from scratch, you will start at silver + 20 status nights, so will only need 10 more to achieve Gold. For Accor, the sweet spot is Platinum where the real benefits start to kick in like free breakfast and access to the executive lounge.
Similar to previous deals being offered in our Southeast Asian countries, Explorer Plus membership is offered in limited regions, Indonesia and Malaysia, from a quick search.
It comes with two free nights, making it a sweeter deal.

My partner already has the Accoe Plus via Amex Platinum. I just signed up as it was cheaper to book two nights worth $530 with this $388.
Note: You can't book two consecutive nights even though you have two free nights. Either you will have to make two separate bookings at the same hotel and reach out to them to make sure they are combined or two different hotels.
I used Surfshark to ensure I wasn't transferred to the AU website. Paid using Wise, AU Amex was being rejected.
