And then it's a short trip to the world's weirdest park.

    • There's a similar one on Jeju Island I went to a decade ago

    • Been there, great place to visit.

      • Was there a lot of eerrr statues?

Nice to see Qantas turning down Qatar’s request for more routes while offering fk all to Perth

    • Perth folks been flying private jets.

    • Ehh Qantas has have QF8xxx codeshares out of Perth with Emirates. You can earn the same amount of Qantas status credits and points as if it was a QF flight.

I agree that the refusal for more landing slots by ASA is piss poor. Just got off QR904 from DOH and my gosh it was amazing, shits Qantas out.

I clicked on all of the Sydney return links. None of them are $872.

Can you confirm? They are all above $1000 to me

all showing as $872 for me. Not that I would use anyway as it means you end up going through one of those 3rd party no name sites that tend to disappear like a fart in the wind if anything goes wrong.

even booking direct with qantas is only a tad over 900 on those dates, for the saved hassle and risk I would go direct.

  • Qantas site playing up :(

  • It looks like flights are returning to normal from Syd and Mel with decent carriers, decent planes at decent prices. I'm trying to figure out why Brisbane is so far behind. The flights from here are either routed through Sydney or Cairns, and on little commuter aircraft that can barely make it to Bali

Because Qantas International care very little for any port outside Sydney, they throw Melbourne a bone here and there, but the rest can piss off.

Korean Air fly direct from BNE so wait for that sale. Or chose SIA with a long layover in Singapore.

  • I’m lazy and didn’t check the links, are all the non-ex-SYD flights stopping there? I’m in Perth and dying to get a good fare to Seoul.

    • Yeah all flights are via SYD, Perth is $1500ish but you would be mad choosing Qantas over Singapore Airlines which are around $1100 and much more direct.

      • Thanks for the info bud! Wanting to burn up some points.

  • Qantas website is busted when trying to buy flights.

  • tried to book with Cheapoflyt for 2 via flightfinderau, but got confirmation booking declined (was told they only have 1 seat for that price). so i called their 1800 number and the gentleman tried to help, but confirmed there's no 872 price anymore. for Qantas, they only have $984 (any dates). so don't bother booking with them.

Today is last day for Qantas deal. I booked flight from Adelaide to Seoul. I considered SIA. But, SIA is too expensive ($1300~1500).
All international flight from Adelaide is so expensive as there is few international flight. From Adelaide, no Cathay and China Southern return. So, SIA and Malaysia air charge higher rate. This Qantas deal is very good for Adelaide resident.
