  • Nice, mouth-breathers on scumtree and scametplace will have less people to annoy this month.

  • If I subscribe to eBay Plus for one month now will I get this promotion?

    • Yes, the promo link will work after a few days

      • Thanks, so just confirming with this promotion active I don't have to pay the 13.09% variable selling fee and just the 33c fixed fee? That's incredible

How do I get the 50% off postage labels?

        • Correct. The 50% off postage labels will apply when you sell something.

          • @I Smell Pennies: Thanks a lot for your help, I subscribed 20 minutes again and it seems I can already activate the selling fee promotion.

Just one last thing though, I put up a listing a few weeks that hasn't sold yet, is there a way for me to quickly unlist then relist it to make it count as part of the promotion? Not keen on writing up the whole listing from scratch.

            • @dogsryummy: Select sell similar item at the bottom and keep your photos then repost. Delete the old listing. Then it’s a new listing and eligible.

  • Where did you actually see this offer? Was it email, in your seller summary, or the overview.? I'm in Plus, no emails, the seller summary just as the usual $5 off thing, the seller overview just free listing fees for up to 250,000 items.

(Appreciate I can just use the links you added - which I have done and looks good, just can never seem to see ebay promos listed here)

  • edit: nevermind

  • +3

For the past two months eBay has not offered 3x 0% fee sales to me. The link is not there in my dashboard, and I get no offer emails.

It does however work if I clicked the link supplied by someone in these comments, so thank you for that. Please keep posting these 0% offers to OzBargain every month, as otherwise I can't access them.

  • Thanks! Just saved $80!

  • If I have sold 3 items in August. If the unsold items posted on August is sold on September, will that be eligible for these promotions in September or should I relist the item is September again.
    Sorry if it's answered earlier.

  • Can someone please confirm if I should expect the "$0 Variable Final Value Fees on 3 New Listings" offer if I sign up for a monthly ebay+ sub on an account that's had ebay+ in the past? Thanks!

    • +1

Yes if you sign up for either a monthly or an annual eBay Plus sub you should get the offer.

However make sure that you activate the offer afterwards via the link provided here by ISP.

      https://www.rsvp.ebay.com.au/rsvp/signup/101

Also don't use relist when putting up listings (can use sell similar) and not sure if it's just an issue on my end but I would not recommend creating listings via the eBay app.

      Hope that helps! 🤌

  • +4

    Just too clarify above responces,..

Where you wont qualify for this offer,..

DO NOT click "RELIST" or use option "RELIST" on your past listings, relisted listings wont be honoured for this 0% sales commission offer

DO NOT ALLOW eBay too "RELIST" your item, if so cancel relisted item and re-do it yourself

Best way too RE-DO / RE-POST / RE ADVERTISE YOUR LISTING is click,… "LIST SIMILIAR ITEM" either your past listings or somebody elses similiar listing or manually do a NEW LISTING

If by chance you made a mistake i.e. relisted your listing/item for sale and sold and you didnt receive 0% sales commission on your sale (check under Payments tab), then jump onto eBay help and ask if they can honour the 0% sales commission on your sales (but heads up eBay help refused too honour my last sales since i relisted it), sometimes the error can be on eBays end so again jump on to eBay help and be firm for them to fix error and receive 0% on sales commission 😉

  • Does anyone know if the 50% discount is applicable for AusPost International Standard postage?

    • +1

"Standard Parcel Post" so nope. All international services start with the word "International" (e.g. International Economy Air)

      • Sure but the service is called "Australia Post International Standard" so I wonder if it is in the category of 'Standard Parcel Post' as it has the word 'standard' in the name.

        • You won't see the term "Parcel Post" on any international service. You will see it on domestic services. Seems clear to me.

          • @Gav: Just re-read the offer terms which actually say "The promotion only applies to Sendle or Australia Post Standard postage services on eBay’s labels platform" with no mention of "Parcel Post".

Is "Australia Post International Standard" an Australia Post Standard postage service? Arguably yes IMO but probably not eligible.

  • How about if I list more than 3 items during this month promotion? Does it mean the first 3 items sold will get the zero final value fee?

    • Correct

      • Thanks! Originally I thought it is only eligible for the first 3 items I list and sold.

  • It's half a month gone, I still done see the activation button

  • If I sign up to ebay plus now can I still access this deal?

  • +5

Next one appears to be https://pages.ebay.com.au/q33sellplus3fvf/ If you wanna make a post about it ISP
Unfortunately its a terrible deal "Eligible Sellers receive up to $25 off variable fees"

    • +2

Thank you @bargainhunterjacob, posted. The deal is worse arggggghhhh hahaha. I wanted to sell some expensive things.

  • Can anyone confirm if I had something sell yesterday and still waiting for payment that I'll get the $0 variable fee offer? What about if I list a 7 day auction today?

  • Wait so is this promotion for August AND september? as in 3 free sales for 2 months?

    • The promotion is ending tomorrow unfortunately. They changed up the september promo.

      • If I put up a listing right now i.e. before 11.59pm tonight, will my selling fees still be 0% (no cap) even if they sell 14 days later?

        • Yes, but you must have sold at least 1 item under the August promo for it to work

          • @I Smell Pennies: What do you mean by that? I've already sold 2 items this month and want to utilise my third and final 0% listing, does that qualify?

            • @dogsryummy: Yup it will 100% in your case.

              • @I Smell Pennies: Sorry just one last question:

My eBay Plus expires in 2 days and I don't plan on renewing, if I list my third item today and it sells after that expiry date, will I still get the 0% variable fees?

With regards to the 50% off postage labels, I've read that they're only given for an ACTIVE eBay Plus subscription. So if my item by chance does sell (not likely), can I repurchase eBay Plus on the spot and buy a discounted label? I've calculated it's cheaper for me to repurchase eBay Plus for the month if my item does sell than purchase a full price label (+ I get a month of eBay Plus haha).

Thanks so much for your help in this thread

  • I have one free fvf listing for August.

If I put up the ad on 31st aug but it sells in September do I still get the fee at 0%?

Don’t like this up to $25 fee they got for next month.

    • If I put up the ad on 31st aug but it sells in September do I still get the fee at 0%?

      Correct

      • also, im guessing that even if I revise the listing it still has the $0 FVF?

  • I'm slipping an auction in tonight considering Ebay was going to run this promo next month but since has downgraded the offer to $25 off FVF.
If you're selling something of greater value than approx $250 then it's worth jumping on it and listing tonight - offer expires at midnight.

  • +1

If you haven't used up any of the free FVF in August that were listed in early August, does that mean nothing rolls over into September and you should end the listing to avoid the fees if sold in September and then create new listing under the new September promo mentioned previously?

    • -1

As long as you didnt use the relist button when listing the item, and it was listed during the promotion period, you should be fine.
