Yessss. Thanks OP. If eBay keep this up they’re going to make me renew my eBay Plus for another year, cause frankly there aren’t any other worthwhile perks to that thing.

Also, shame the 50% Australia Post labels has fallen off again, but beggars can’t be choosers.

    • +1

      No worries mate!

Also, shame the 50% Australia Post labels has fallen off again, but beggars can’t be choosers.

It might actually come back, I'll let you know at midnight tonight.

      • +4

@mboy Can confirm 50% off Australia Post postage labels are included again for August, along with Sendle :)

        • Awesome!

    • +3

Agreed. I only signed up to Plus because there was a $4.99/yr promo with a bonus $20 voucher (which actually turned out to also include the $80 voucher that was offered for full-price membership a couple of days before) but not long afterwards eBay started the $0 FVF promos again. Definitely a reason to keep it going.

If I listed something in July and it sells in August, does this work if I activate both the July and August promos? Or do I need to relist the item on August 1st?

    Thanks

    • -3

      Depends.

    • +1

If you activated the July promotion and list it in July and it sells in August, it will be attached to the July promotion (assuming you have not used up all three for July). Have you used up all three (sold 3 items) for July?

To use the August promo, you must activate it August 1st (link coming soon) and newly list from August 1st, then any 3 items sold within 30 days of the listing date will attach to the August promo (and same thing follows for Sepetmber).

      • +1

are you sure about this? i feel i chatted to them before and they told me it had to be sold in the month you list it.

        • +3

I’m an exoerienced seller and do this every month, and many here does it too.

          • +1

@I Smell Pennies: It is good to know. I am always worried about this thus I relist every month! Thanks for your contribution mate. You did amazing job here.

      • Thank you! I got worried as the previous month promo doesn’t show under “Selling promotions” once you enter a new month, but this is great to know.

    • I’m planning to wait until the items from Jul listing sell before activating the Aug promo for another three listings. Hopefully that works.

  • Is this targeted or available to all eBay Plus?

    • +1

Available to all eBay Plus members

  • -1

I presume you still gonna get stung by paypal fee?

    • +7

eBay doesn't use PayPal anymore. They manage payments themselves. Been this way since past few years.

      • So that means no fee at all with this deal?

        • +6

There’s a $0.30 listing fee deducted when your item sells, but that’s all. Pretty sweet deal.

  • +1

Nice, was about to put up a few listings.

    Thanks OP.

  • Haven't been a seller on ebay for many years, but I take it you need to be an eBay Plus member to get an of the offers for reduced fees these days. Is that correct?

    • Yes

    • +2

And only $4.99 to use only for one month, cancel eBay plus subscription straight after you signup so you dont need to remember to cancel before end of month and even of you cancel early subscription will still run for the whole month

  • Did we lose AusPost again? Weird.

    • I won't know until midnight tonight

    • +2

@Hiphopopotamus Can confirm 50% off Australia Post postage labels are included again for August, along with Sendle :)

  • +1

Thanks for posting. How do you find these offers (no selling fees) without the link?

  • +1

    Thanks, been waiting for this.

  • Is $0 FVF for ebay plus only ?

  • So if I have existing listings, I just delete and then create new ads?

    • +1

Either that, or you can use the "Sell Similar" function on the website (do not use the app). This will allow you to create an identical listing with a different item number hence eligible for the promotion. As soon as it's live, end your old listing.

      • Why not the app? I've done that in the past and as long as I select 'Sell Similar' I have never missed out.

        • Several reports where members did not have the promo applied, and I believe they all used the app. Not saying it won't apply, but seems hit & miss. Or it could just be human error…

      • +1

        Awesome. Thanks for the info!

      • What about existing listings from the old promo that haven't sold - i thought they remain in tact until sold, and can use 3x more listings for August?

Hard to find the promotional offers link to accept the deal (ie. accept offer).
Bottom of selling page under promos only has 'list up to 250,000 items free etc'

I can't even see how to get the postage labels. Under sold items the only pull down next to item is 'see payment details'.

        Cheers OP

Ps. Have seen both in the past, fk knows why it's so difficult this time.

  • +1

    Nice work OP 👏👏

  • +1

glad they are keeping this going for members!

  • +2

Why did you post it today? 😂

    • To get people ready to join Plus (like me) before August starts.

      • +1

Tbh, plus pays itself off. Plus, it has very limited offers. eBay sellers jack prices before the sales lol Amazon is great, prime is expensive but I save more money on kids and grocery stuff. Free next day delivery always surprises us.

  • all I can see in the Seller hub is this promo offer :

50% Variable Fee credit in July - Jordan 4s*
Receive a credit for 50% of the variable fees paid on Jordan 4s listed and sold before 31 July. *T&Cs apply.
    Start:1 Jul 2023 at 0:00 AESTEnd:End:31 Jul 2023 at 23:59 AESTUsed/Left:Activateebay.com.au

    • Read the post again. It starts tomorrow.

      • Oh sorry.

Will i have to relist my existing listings?

        • 😂

        • +3

You will need to END your listings but only relist them using Sell Similar. A straight relist of you old ended item won't register these as "new" listings which is what they need to be to get the 0% fee.

  • +1

    Handy - thanks

  • Just confirming you can list say 5 items but only the first 3 to sell get no final fees? TIA

  • +1

Nice. Recently sold an $1100 item and paid like $150 in fees…

  • +2

this is ebay plus's best value

  • +8

I've clicked the deal but keeps going to,.. Terms and Conditions page,.. yes its past midnight actually 1 am here, might have to wait few hours,.. Melbourne timezone and cold here
    👉😁👈

    • Same

      • same here

    • Yes, this promo isn't appearing.

    • Yes nothing.. no 'accept' button anywhere
      No postage stuff either.

      • Be patient guyz

        • Guess posting deals in advance is to be expected even if it's after midnight as stated.

Anyway some months the vouchers take 15 days to show up if at all. That's Fleabay for you.

          • +1

@G-rig: Last time we had a similar issue, it turned out to be a better deal than what was posted.
            Fingers crossed :P

      • @G-rig the postage has reset at midnight. On my end I’m seeing 3x 50% off until 31/08

    • eBay vouchers are never on time.

  • I don't have this offer to accept .. is this for targeted people?

    • did you read any comments before you posted ?

    • +1

      It's ebay plus only.
But it appears that it isn't active yet. Ebay is infamous for inconstancy with promotion times.

    • Yes, I have ebay+ but not getting the offer yet either.

  • +5

Not getting the offer yet either on link, just goes to terms and conditions page.

  • +1

I signed up for ebay plus in the hope of getting this deal at 12:09AM.
I'll let you know if and when the promo comes through.

    • It seems to have worked. I was able to rsvp to the 0 fees for 3 listings

  • +1

The link still doesn’t show the ‘link’ to accept the offer. Isn’t that eBay promo normally start at 10am or earlier?

    • +2

Every month it's been a bit different, eBay aren't very consistent.

Just keep an eye on the T&C page that's been linked in the deal. Eventually that yellow highlighted “Accept offer” text will become a link.

It should happen sometime today, probably next couple of hours. One month it happened on the 2nd of the month, so could even be tomorrow.

      • +1

depends when that person creating the link gets to work. Hopefully they dont call in sick today. haha

    • It's after 10am and not there.
      Lot of upvotes anyway lol

      • it's already 10:32am AEST and doesn't work

        • That's what I was sayin

      • +3

        See my comment above.

No idea where everyone got this 10am deadline from. Some months the link was available at 12am. Some months it became available in the afternoon. One month the link wasn't available until the 2nd day of the month.

        Just chill, it'll come.

        • +3

Yeah exactly. They’re so impatient lol. eBay will advertise the link/promo over the next few days and that’s when we’ll actually know what the link is. Last month eBay advertised the link on the 3rd.

      Legend.

A reminder to everyone to take a screenshot of the offer acceptance in case something goes wrong later.

    • +2

Thanks mate. I appreciate the time and effort you put in.

    • +1

      Finally a link.

      Good work mate, cheers

    • Cheers buddy! 🍻

    • Never get any of these emails they talk about:
i.e. have received an email invitation to participate (“Eligible Customers”)

Can't seem to access the postage labels but won't worry about it until i actually sell something.

    • There's no activation link for the 50% Australia Post one, so it's targetted? Mine doesn't seems to offer that 50% postage. The 0 selling fee activation worked fine, thanks.

  • +1

    It's active now

  • For anyone with experience selling with this offer in the past —
I've managed to accept the offer and list an item, but in my seller hub it says I have used 0/3 of my offer. Does this mean it hasn't applied to the listing, or will it only be 'used' once I have sold the item?

    • +5

0/3 will go to 1/2 after you sell an item. 2/1 after you sell a second item and 3/0 after you sell your third.
