  • Is Cold Pressed a marketing term?
Who heats there juice when jucing?

    • The non-cold press machines heat up the fruit as it processes them (think of fast metal blades spinning), where as this type doesn't as it is basically just chewing it.

      • How much heat are home juicers creating with spinning blades?

I doubt you would be able to measure the difference

        • If you run a nutribullet for a minute the base gets a fair bit of heat in it.

Thanks, I'll give it a go.

  • how much time does it take to get a glass of (say) celery and carrot juice?
Is the cleaning easier and quicker than a normal juicer?
    How is the service/repair /maintenance?
    Local support ?

  • From reviews, you can see:
    - Hard to clean and clogs
    - More prep required than $500 unit (to be expected). eg, chop, deseed, decore
    - Bad yield. Very moist extract
    - Light weight design. Someone said that half a lemon cracked the main housing…

I guess if you want fruit in and juice out, then why not. (If you don't mind prepping and cleaning time). Otherwise, save up a little more for a known brand for cold press.

If you're going to go cheap, why not just go cheap? $67.15 (With JAN15 coupon) https://ebay.com.au/itm/130867354183

Btw, I love the INKBIRD temp and watering controllers
