Looks good but why aren't there any reviews? Do you think it's portable enough to travel with and good for general office work?

    • +1

There aren't any reviews because this "brand" is here today and will be gone tomorrow. Unless you know the actual panel they used (which probably varies batch to batch), it's a lucky dip.

There are however reviews on their other monitors The actual real reason there are no reviews is because there was no purchases on this listing yet.

        • Oh. Sorry, I meant technical reviews. As in like rtings or similar.

          • @incipient: Does rtings even bother reviewing these dime a dozen rebranded aliexpress stuff?

I’d totally buy one if it were made by a more reputable brand like Sorny or Panaphonics.

Yeah, there are more reputable brands out there like Samsang, Somy, Dall etc

    • 😂

  • Is there anyway to know whether my MacBook Pro can power this monitor?
Please dont tell me that I should buy it first.
    Thanks :-)

Assuming you're talking a recent Macbook Pro with a type c based thunderbolt port then yes, the type c based thunderbolt port will accept power through the screen and display video on it. Older Macbooks with minidp ports should also work but it won't charge your macbook and you'd need one of these minidp to type c adapters or similar https://www.amazon.com.au/Cablecc-Female-Source-Displayport-…

      TL;DR yes

      • You misread the question

      • Thanks.
However I asked about powering the monitor using the 13"/14" MacBook Pro with USB-C port.
E.g in the case of a power outage.
