        These are not rated for rock climbing, but if you use 50 together, probably good enough to hold a person's weight.

    Enjoy holding your ID for about 3 weeks then the rope frays and you need a new one.

    I guess this is about 1.5 years worth, assuming the ID doesn't fall off and you dont notice it and have to pay the replacement fee.

      Agreed, these ones are only nylon, so probably won't last too long.
      I've got a Keybak that has a Kevlar cord and even that has frayed and fallen off once in the years that I've owned it.

        You just need to practice tailgating so you don't have to use your own card as much. It's quite the art form, extra points if you can do it without the tailed noticing.

    yeh these are pretty flimsy but prob ok for light objects like swipe cards..
    i did buy similar on ali just for the handy pen holder part: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32956031051.html

    i then attached the pen holder part to a better quality retractable off ali (100cm one): https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003030076385.html

    this has been very handy while doing carpentry (for pens/pencil etc).
    i've treated it pretty rough and it's lasted a couple of years..
    although a couple of times I've had to fiddle with it/respool.
