The purchase amount will display in USD in your My Rewards, however the cashback amount is converted to AUD at current conversion rates.

That's true, everytime i enabled cashrewards the hotels prices jacked up. In the end it was better to go through tripadvisor first and skip any cashback
Even without the cashback price jacking, most of the hotels i was looking at on Agoda are all over 15% higher today too.
Yup definitely almost always jacked when done through cash back sites. Best is to use a private browser and google search for hotels that way. Sometimes searching for a specific hotel in tripadvisor using an incognito tab will yield even slightly better prices
Thats what happened to me last week. Was a good $130 off my total trip.
Sounds good, doesn't work. Did a quick check of a hotel in japan that I was planning on booking. Using private browser on agoda is $168/night, through cashrewards $185/night, and directly from the hotel's website approx $164/night after yen to aud conversion.
Had an issue of cashback prices being higher in some cases. Hope they have fixed that
