how will they give me my 4 cents change?

    • Hahaha back on your card?

      • +6

        I only pay cash.

        • +2

round down to zero for cash. like at the servo. TBH they probably tried to give these away for free but the system forced them to enter a price that wasn't zero.

  • +2

Gosh I have so many of these, if only there was a place I could donate them to

    • +8

Trade them in to EB games for $0.001 each

      • +1

Hahaha so true trade them back in

HODL for the surge its coming stay strong!!!

        • Better plug them in if you're looking for a surge!

    • CEX might take them! https://au.webuy.com/

      • Shiiit. Can’t believe CEX is still operating. It screams front shop

        • +1

Yeah I use them a lot. There are some genuine bargains on there, especially on routers.

    • Doubt they'd want these. I've been going through my box of excess cables and chargers recently, and common ones like these just build up and aren't really useful. If you're charging stuff, you either want it faster, or smaller, or slower (like a usb2 port out of a computer). They aren't even worth anything in scrap, because the transformer they contain is microscopic. Utterly obsolete. About as valuable as empty milk bottles

      • +5

Empty milk bottles could be worth 10x these!

      • +2

1 amp charge is fine for overnight charging and doesn't heat the battery as much

    • I need 2

Might as well give it away. Save the cashier time for transaction. And save printing receipt paper.

  • Does it mean free if I pay by cash?

  • +5

If they're all this model, they generic and poorly regulated.

1A chargers are great if you're the type to plug your phone in every night; slow charge, and less time sitting at full. But I'd invest in a quality one.

Original iPod (non firewire obviously) chargers are 1A and are incredibly well regulated.

  • DC not AC

    • +1

It would be rocking if it was AC/DC

    • The output is 5V 1A DC. The input is 230V AC.

    • Pity no delivery. It's a Long Way to the Shop.

  • cocks deal Rage at this, Jimmy.

  • Will this charge my Anker 737 powerbank?

    • +1

      Eventually.

      • +1

Wonder if the rate of self discharge would win out eventually.

  • +1

    Uh OH!!!
It's a Short dated power supply.

Expiry date is 16 Aug 2023!!

They will be worth half of this in a week, mark my words!

  • i need replacement for my WD external hardy

what cord to go with this ?

    • Does your external use a seperate USB as power? My externals are either powered directly from the computer or use a 12v adaptor.

      • separate cord with adapter head ..

some type of barrel tip on one end

        • Probably a 12v adaptor. The 3.5 inch drives inside normally run off 12v inside a desktop pc. The externals based on 2.5 inch laptop drives don't normally need extra power.

This deal is just for a USB plug. Basically an old phone charger.
