  • All Express !

With how quick some of my recent orders have been arriving (1 week) we may as well call it AllExpress.

      • yes and they seem to be using a new local delivery partner - I think its crazy horse?

        • +2

The Choice banner products are now shipping from the AliExpress warehouse instead of the seller direct. I think that plays a huge role in it.

      • With how quick some of my recent orders have been arriving

Indeed they have improved a lot and items always arrive but if you asked me about Aliexpress around 3-4 years ago I would say avoid that trash.

  • Compare to this one for $9?

was $9.95, 2 years ago*. There's two models in this listing with the "RX V5.0" looking pretty much identical. The one in my link "TX RX V5.1" offers extra features including a better mic and a button with various different functions

      • Good just ordered

Older cars don't have AUX and USB on the dashboard or anywhere else in the car 🤔

Ive been using one of those Bluetooth devices that plugs into the lighter and works fine but woild be good to have the hands free calls and mic option instead of shouting when on loud speaker.

Just buy a new car. Jeez.

But then I won't need this device :)

        Decisions, decisions…

This looks good @Naigrabzo, thnx for highlighting

        • Aaaiye! I am getting one for my old car. Just deciding whether I can be bothered wiring a reverse camera….decisions…

    • For those cars you need a Bluetooth to FM transmitter. I used to have a Blitzwolf car charger with an inbuilt FM transmitter - they were $20-$30, but that was some years ago.

    • I recently got the below, works well if you don't mind paying around $100. Easy install and integrates with Spotify

Thanks mate. I'll definitely have a look at this device.

  • How do you get $11.9 delivered (Including tax)? My price is showing $11.9 + 1.19 (Tax)

    • Did you apply the coupon?

    • Make sure you're paying in USD, not AUD too

  • The one Kmart sells is good n cheap. No waiting for delivery either

  • Sound quality on this is horrible.. I have a few from different brands and this one has to be the worst.

    • Huh weird. I've been using this perfectly for the last 2+ years. Audio quality is banger.
Although mine's in my 2008 Aurion, I already have a specific harness that runs behind the factory radio that does a lot of encoding and basically anything I plug into the radio I get good sound, even into a little bluetooth thing like this.

      • Hi @WasBargain - looking at this for a 2008 Aurion - are you using this with the Sat Nav stereo?

        • Mine doesn't have the Sat Nav option. I'll try and find the link for you if you were interested. Not sure if it'll work with that factory stereo model but will confirm when I find it.

It's plug'n'play into the factory unit though, quite easy to get the unit out and the cable plugged in. Once it is, you run the cable to under your shifter, making it easier to fiddle with later. From there, you plug this unit in or you can even run a 3.5mm cable to your centre console or even storage tub thingo to play from your phone directly. It works by adding another input to your factory radio so it comes up as "DISC 2" on the screen.

If I'm understanding your situation though, I'm guessing you want something that still interacts with your factory sat nav so you can play music/get alerts from your phone and also pickup alerts from your factory sat nav? I'm not sure if I can help you there. Sounds like a bit of a headache in that situation.. 😅

I'm also unsure if when you switch inputs on your factory sat nav stereo, if you'll even be able to use your display for navigation. My little screen always just sits on "DISC 2" when I use the harness+ this bluetooth device.

  • Do you have a recommendation of one that's sounds good ? I have one in my car ATM and it sounds kinda average

  • BS coupon special. Normal price is $6.77. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004737266618.html

BS comment and BS neg. You linked a completely different store with very low feedback of 90% and try to save that it's the normal price of Cabletime.

      • exact same product, just different seller. here is another one going for $5.85 (96 sold & 22 reviews) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005050258493.html

        • Again 90% feedback which goes against OzBargain rules for being extremely low. You can't even get the price right. US$3.96 inc GST is AU$6.23 for regular users based on the actual exchange rate.

You go buy it and tell us what you get.
