Their daily supply charge is twice what Origin is currently charging me. I think they re-coup that 150$ from that difference

For $150 credit on 1st bill, its decent but only if your bothered to churn back out elsewhere after the 1st month.

Double supply charge probably only equates to an extra $20..

Being an energy-slut is the only option to earn a quick buck

Junk plan unless you can be bothered churning.

Couldn't find the terms and conditions for this one, but the $75 referral credit I got wasn't refundable when I left.

I was with Powershop for the 12c solar tariff but then realised NRMA simply solar plan (thanks ozbargain for my free NRMA Blue) was cheaper for me with the same FIT and $200 credit.

      • Link doesn’t mention the $200. The offer expired perhaps.

        • Looks to be NSW only for the NRMA plans with $200.

    • I just left power shop for tango's $150 first month, how frequent the churners churn?

I like Poweshop. shame I had to leave them for the 2nd time recently given their rates were no longer competitive for me.

      Same here..

      Same

  • gawd the rates and daily supply charges will certainly offset the $150 credit and more. I'm happy switching to Sumo recently

Terrible rates, and they’ll raise it again after you join. Bad experience.

  • anyone can suggest a retailer that offering similar app as Powershop? where I can view daily usage and pay monthly in the app. Wanted to leave them soon.

  • 200$ wuth simply energy, just switched to them

$0.12/kwh for unlimited feed tarrif in nsw.
could be worth with anyone with like 10kwh solar panels.

  • would this stack with the referral credit?

    • No, you either get $150 credit thru this plan, or $75/$75 split between referrer/referee.

Don't forget Cashback if you sign up through either ShopBack or CashRewards, extra $70 but you need to stay connected for 75 days.
Even with the expensive charges I'll be covered for that period with the $150+ $70 pretty easily.

    • Pretty sure can't combine the two as cashback sites go through Econnex website not directly with powershop

      • 100% you can, just go through SB which will sent you to econnex & when you compare you'll see the PowerShop plan with $150 credit is an available option.
I signed up and plan was confirmed & Cashback was tracked.

        • Oh I see, yeah doesn't show for QLD but if I change address to NSW it appears. Hopefully would still be eligible for QLD
