Not the cheapest these have been but definitely a good price! Have been stalking prices of these for a while (rrp $269) and they seem to have all dropped to $239 at Amazon, JB Hi-Fi and The Good Guys.
For some reason on the Officeworks website it doesn't specifically say it's an 11th Gen (other than it fits 11th Gen cases) but the product number B09TMK7QFX matches other stores product code for the Paperwhite 11th Gen.
Kindle takes epub without conversion?!?! Really?! I can get rid of calibre?
Yup, Amazon will take care of the conversion automatically now. Also Kindle doesn't support .mobi or .azw anymore. So it's a bit of a turnabout, used to be when presented with download options of .mobi and .epub when "sourcing" your books you'd choose the .mobi. Now you'll want to choose the .epub.
I can get rid of calibre?
Only if you can always get an epub. Also, calibre is more than just a conversion tool.
Calibre web + send to kindle is the bees knees
Whenever I see this product advertised I keep reading it as kindle paperweight.

I got this during prime day sale last month. Was available for 187$ via amazon then got jb to price match it and 5% off gift card, jb also had free delivery via uber which came in handy.
the device is good, I like reading books on it.
I got the entry level paperwhite after upgrading from an old sony one. Really nice snappy compared to my old one, but physical buttons would've been nice. I accidentally click the screen all the time.
I noticed that Kobo now clone the Kindle design. Kindle is a great device if you read books. Takes ePub now without conversion too.
