40

Spotted this while checking out COTD deals for today. Best price I've seen in a long time for this keyboard. Logitech Shop is still $145 plus postage.

  • A good HTPC keyboard. Not that great for everyday computing though.

  • Most websites seem to be $200+

    Good deal I say

  • Reading their description, I think they might have a pricing error here :)

    "$229 at JB Hi-Fi*, $149 with us – THAT’S $80 in your pocket!!"

Better get in quick then! (if its a pricing error :D)

    • Could be a pricing error….this is the lowest price for Catch of the day..I was surprised! :)

im not sure all these keyboards are really worth $229! man are these things overpriced!

    • They're a nice couch keyboard but you can get this for ~$60 less

      • The K400 isn't bluetooth, the diNovo Edge is.

        • how much better is bluetooth? (range, interference..)
The price is tempting, could do with backlit keys if it's gonna be performing htpc duties though.

        • blue tooth is all about power savings.

why is that? both bluetooth and the K400 work off 2.4ghz(unifying receiver). cant be too different. my other logitech keyboard works for 6-9 months without a battery change and works on that unifying receiver.

        • I thought bluetooth was much worse than the unifying receivers as far as consumption went, but was pretty good for support, eg most devices such as android etc support bluetooth…

I've had one for a couple of years now and can say that it is a good HTPC keyboard but definitely not the best. It gets a tad annoying after a while as it's not exactly small. I ended up replacing it with one of these

Much cheaper and just as good in my opinion.

    just my 2c

i've tried both - the K400 feels really cheap and plasticky, the diNovo feels a lot more solid, is rechargable, has touch controls, and feels better to type with.

Whether or not it's worth two K400s .. that's up to the buyer. The dinovo looks and feels nicer, but at the end of the day you just wanna watch TV, so I personally went with the K400.

  • i've always wanted to buy this keyboard to control my media player pc(attached to a 59'' tv).
while i was was waiting for a good deal i installed the wifitouchpad app on iphone and ipad and since then i never looked back

    Good deal though!

  • k400 is another option; Its cheaper, smaller and has bigger touchpad.

  • Logitech Shop is still $145 plus postage.

Doesn't logitech shop have free shipping? Not that it matters since this is still cheaper.

  • I have one of these, I paid about $200 four or so years ago, can't believe it still so expensive,

Good keyboard, prob not worth the price but I don't have to worry about buying new batteries for it.
They need to update the touchpad to multi touch for it to be worth it I think..
