It sucks to be celiac. Everything costs more, you miss out on a lot of good loot, and it’s a pain fir you and your companions too when you go out. At least it’s better than it used to be.

Eg. Woolworths plain flour $1.25/kg. Macro organic flour $4.50/kg.

Oh, and for those wondering, the xanthum gum is the substitute for gluten in this flour, to act as a binding agent.

      It sucks to be celiac.

Go carnivore, heal and still have plenty of going out options …

    • Where should I buy xanthum gun on its own if attempting my own gluten free flour blend?

        Colesworth. Anywhere really.

        • I feel silly - didnt realise it was that common - thanks

Just plain stupid expensive, though I hear it’s a great product

  • What makes this better than Colesworth GF flour @ $3.60 for 750g?

    • +1

Doesn’t turn to lead in the oven.

      • Do you ever do your own mixes? Is it any more of a bargain to do it that way?

    • I haven't bought any yet to find out but I did quite a bit of reading on this product and the reviewers seem genuinely convinced it's the perfect substitute for normal flour.

      So expensive though.
