Seriously, the indoctrination is so strong that people have lost sense of what is actually important.
People who hate "teh feminists" aside, the game got extremely poor reviews for gameplay, performance and a very cringe story. If it's free on PS+ then it might be worth a look to see if it's been patched slightly, but it's not something I'll be resubbing to PS+ for to try out…
Same basic idea, but no where near the depth of story.

Easy platinum unless you get stuck with one of their bugs that they won't fix and requires you to completely replay it for…

I was considering buying this for my PS5 or even the recent Steam release, glad I decided to wait on this.
Haven't really played a Saints Row game past 2 a long while ago, and while I hear it's very mediocre and a butchering of a series from the gameplay I've seen it does seem like good fun if I don't take it very seriously and compare it to the former for what it's worth.

I remember buying the original Saints Row and thinking it was garbage. I have never understood the hype on this series, but to each their own. I actually don't remember what I didn't like about it specifically, I just know I didn't like it.
SR2 was much improved on the first one. 3 went in a different direction and 4 went right off the rails. I enjoyed 1 well enough, and 2-3 quite a lot. 4 was okay in a lot of ways, but I never finished it - unlike the first three.
SR2 was my favourite, and SR3 was fun too, like a more polished version of 2. I didn't finish SR4, didn't like all the aliens and superpowers. I just liked doing nuts shots and tossing people, I'm a simple man.
I wouldn't want to play this game if they paid me a monthly subscription.

I mean yeah? My backlog is already longer than I could possibly ever hope to finish, so even having this one in my library the likelihood of actually playing it is zero. Not even gonna bother claiming it because it would just be a stain on an otherwise decent library of games.
Worth it for the 90's hip hop channel while driving the open world, but the larping…..

Generation Zero is a great little title that I completed to 100%. Black Desert is a rather grindy Korean-MMO obsessed with graphics and boobs (I'll give you this one not being very good…)Fair enough, I don't know Generation Zero. But the "flagship" game of the month being Saints Row is kind of an insult given how universally hated it is.
Generation Zero is very good, you get a robo doggo to fight with you.
Definitely the worst 3 games they've put together for a while. Not sure what they were thinking with this one. Often there is a stinker or two, but this is appalling. And off the back of their announced price increase, it's like they WANT people to cancel their subscriptions!
Speak for yourself, it's a game I have been on the fence of buying since launch, and legitimately nearly bought last week, so this is perfect timing for me.
Sure it's subjective, but the game has a 3.0 Metacritic audience score which speaks volumes. Each to their own of course.
Having played it, it's fine, nothing incredible, but definitely not worthy of the backlash it got, which was primarily due to people screaming "woke".
Whats with all the hate? Its really not that bad of a game. Its a little tedious with the same general side missions in each area you take over, but on the whole it's really a fairly solid game. Not as good as SR2 or SR3 for sure, but nowhere near as bad as some are making it out to be!

Absolutely worth a play
Developer just went under. Wonder if that's a coincidence or a way to get some cash from Sony on the way out.
The game gets a lot of hate because it doesn't hold a candle to the original Saints Row games, which is true and valid, but still a fun chaotic action-adventure game. They have recently overhauled many elements of the game too. Worth a play through and very easy Platinum.
