    I am also seaching for this , If they can provide Tax invoice with ABN number we can claim $70 from powerbuy , I check their ebay store , they are providing tax invoice but not sure about the ABN , Also I am leaving overseas so I can claim GST as well ,

        Yes, accoording to the eyes of ATO, a proper tax invoice needs to have an ABN printed.

      Yes you are still eligible, please double check the tax invoice that the seller will provide you with has an ABN on it. Without an ABN on the tax invoice you won't be able receive the cash-back.

      I had one, it works pretty good, very smooth under Android 4.03.

      The only problem is the power button, it is poorly designed and quite loose. It is the most serious quality risk for that tablet, which I believe is the reason for the crazy price.

    The main selling point for this tablet at this price is 3G. It is sufficient enough to run normal web browsing and perform non graphic intensive tasks like 3D gaming and watching 1080p videos.

      1080p struggles to play on Tegra2… Let alone 3d games lol. I get the occasional frame skip on large MKV files and the audio desyncs.

        If the firmware is ROW version you can root it, there is a new way to root this lenovo. I just did it few days ago. just head to xda forum. I'll write a "how to root" step by step tutorial over there.

    New question: Is there a GPS in this wifi+3G model??? That's quite important for me. The datasheet said , assisted GPS in it.
    But this description is not clear enough.

      Hi, assisted GPS is GPS using data network to get a GPS lock, so that will take around 10 seconds if you got a 3g connection. The normal GPS is still there, just with a faster locking feature if you have 3g.

        I used to have a nokia that takes 1 hour to get a GPS lock if I don't use 3g to download GPS data…. LOL, but I guess newer phones and tablets are not too bad, probably few minutes if didn't use it for long.

      I have one of these and it definitely has GPS. I have downloaded Navionics marine charting and it works well. It also has a compass.

      I also have a Wifi only one. There are a few reports about GPS not working or poor performance in the WiFi version. I had to send mine back for warranty fix for GPS and it also is now fine.

      They both came with digitiser pens. Mine were direct purchases from Lenovo a couple of months ago.

        I bought mine during the 2:1 deal and picked up some cheap samsung 10.1 screencovers from JB in their clearance bin (2 for $5.) easily modified to fit the lenovo (out of all the standard screencovers) as not many shops here in country Vic seem to stock lenovo specific.

      What I mentioned is tax refund when you leave australia, every invoice with ABN large than $300 can get nearly 10% tax refund.

        They say you can reserve/claim this offer and then have 30 days time to provide the receipt. But the date on the receipt needs to be today (or earlier).

          "If you reserve/claim this offer before it expires you have 30 days to upload your valid receipt (from the date of your claim). " That's what it says. But now that I read it again, it does mean that the 30 days starts to count from the date of the claim. Not as I first understood it, that the receipt should be from the date of the claim. Oh well.
