    Better to get a generic BT case with keyboard or the Lenovo branded wired case? And why would you bother with the dock?

      With the wired dock you get a Lenovo laptop standard keyboard including the central cursor control button - having said that I don't do enough typing so I have a simple 10.1 inch wet suit material pocket for mine - but I am tempted to get the KB-case.

      This is by memory from a good review when I was trying to decide my recent purchase from centrecom at this proice.

      The stand/dock frees you foom fiddling with a micro-usb plug and socket for charging - I can easily see that as a failure point and the charge rate is much higher - at least 4x the standard aadaptor charge rate. I have one and it is well worth the bargain price from Lenovo Aus.

          Ozem61 is correct. The dock charges the unit much faster than the plug that comes in the box. It acts as a stand and allows you transfer files from PC whilst charging.

          Memory says that from dead flat the dock is about 2 hors and the wallwart takes about 8 hours

          Can't find my source for this but I am approximately right I do believe.

      I dont think it is transferrable. Because you need your name to be same on the invoice & the cashback form. I know because I'be used powerbuy in the past and reveived cashback in 5 working days.

    I found that the battery life is shorter than the wifi one. Does anyone find that as well?

    It is only about 5 hours, but my wifi one will last for 7 hours at least.

    Is it because 3G devices? I turned it off.

      Keeping 3G on will consume power. As will using it on the 2G network — the SIM is always connected to cellular networks unless you take the SIM out or use Airplane Mode to shut down the cellular service.

      I got the 3M shield on the basis of a LOT of googling and also after trying the stylus pen tip on a urethane (Helicopter blade protection etc) screen protector I use on my phone and getting far to much drag making the stylus a pain to use.

      See my earlier post re the KB Case and since then I have purchased one for myself! It also has a set of smart keys for useful functions - NICE

      Don't try this. If you root, you cannot update the system. the only alternative CM10 is not stable at the moment. It is really difficult and complicated to root this one. I gave up, though I hope to redefine the physical buttons, particular power button that is very weak.

    Mine is Android 4.01 when first start up.

    Just wonder whether it is an old tablet because my last one was Android 3.0 when it arrives and I have to update it by myself.

    Can anyone advice: has yours been updated to Android 4.01 in the factory?
